To our surprise, we’re coming at you live TODAY from the 2020 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! While adventuring around EPCOT today at the Cast Member Preview, we couldn’t help but notice that some of the food booths around World Showcase were OPEN a little early!

One of our stops today was at Funnel Cakes in the American Adventure Pavilion. Funnel Cakes have proven to be a DFB fave over the years, so we were VERY MUCH looking forward to what this stand had in store.

Gentlemen, start your smokers! Sam Eagle’s Centennial Cook-Off is about the kick-off when the new Regal Eagle Smokehouse Craft Drafts & Barbecue debuts in Epcot!

While we’ll be able to dine in space (!!!) at Space 220, shrink to the size of a rat on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and step into the beloved fairytale with the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, we are also so close to the opening of Regal Eagle Smokehouse with the latest restaurant progress.

With Space 220, La Creperie de Paris, and even a new gelato and sorbet kiosk all coming to the park soon, we’re always on the lookout for opening dates. Well, today we finally spotted one! Regal Eagle is the brand new restaurant coming to the American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase and we officially have an opening MONTH, people!
We announced earlier this year that Epcot’s Liberty Inn in the American Adventure Pavilion would be closing to make way for a new fast-casual BBQ and craft brews experience.

Today, Disney has shared the news that Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will be coming to Epcot this WINTER and released a first look at several menu items.
