If you know us, you know we love a LOT of SAUCE.
That’s a big reason that we’re fans of Mr. Kamal’s in Animal Kingdom! This spot serves Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries which are delicious on their own, but made all the better by the different sauce options you can snag! Today, we swung by Mr. Kamal’s and noticed that only a few options were available — and not the ones you’ll see on the online menu.
We noticed quite a few missing iconic snacks around Walt Disney World since it reopened.
The Peter Pan Float disappeared from Storybook Treats at the Magic Kingdom and the Simba Pretzel is nowhere to be found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Some restaurants have yet to reopen too. The Cheshire Cafe in Magic Kingdom serves the crowd-favorite Cheshire Cat Tail. The stand hasn’t reopened yet so we’ve been missing out on one of our favorite pastries! [Read more…]
We’ve been having a WILD time — as always! — in Disney’s Animal Kingdom this week! Our adventures have taken us to Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes for a new dish and to DinoLand U.S.A. to see the latest changes to Primeval Whirl.
But why stop there? Of course, we had to check out all the latest merch! And in addition to a truly unique windbreaker at Windtraders in Pandora, we also visited the Riverside Depot on Discovery Island. And that’s where we spotted, among many other items, two new t-shirts featuring two entirely different characters and sentiments… [Read more…]
Who doesn’t love coming across a little gem while wandering the parks?
Pin trading is all the rage at Walt Disney World Resort. A fun, little Disney-themed accessory? Count us in! There have been some super cute new pins lately like these Disney Princess ice cream pins and incredibly stylish options from Loungefly. And have you seen the new Minnie Mouse ears that you can decorate with your favorite pins? [Read more…]
Na’vi River Journey is one of the two attractions (the other being Avatar Flight of Passage) in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora.
If you’ve taken a boat journey through the beautiful bioluminescent rainforest that makes up the ride, then you’ve had the chance to encounter the Na’vi Shaman of Songs. The scene featuring the impressive audio-animatronic is truly stunning and provides an unforgettable moment in the attraction. [Read more…]
Well, Tree of Life, you’re looking particularly snazzy today!
You guessed it! We’re in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today to take a look at everything new in Disney World’s WILDEST park. After all, we love staying up to date on the AK happenings. Let’s take a look at ALL the updates in food, construction, and merchandise in Animal Kingdom!
Walt Disney World has officially re-opened and is getting back to business!
The current changes have affected the ways guests may experience rides, dining, and park entry. The new guidelines have also made a BIG impact on Disney transportation. Things have definitely changed a bit when it comes to getting around, so we’re bringing you ALL of our best TIPS for using Disney transportation in a reopened Disney World!
We’re coming at you with another Disney recipe today! Satu’li Canteen is one of our favorite counter service locations in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Located in Pandora, this dining hot spot is home to those awesome rice bowls and crazy otherworldly desserts. Another popular item are those cute little cheeseburger pods!
If you’ve never had these little pockets of deliciousness, they’re basically a steamed bun loaded with all the flavors of a cheeseburger. Sounds strange, tastes AWESOME. It’s one of our favorite foods in all of Animal Kingdom (AND it just reappeared on the menu as an option for adults after only being a kids’ option for a while!). Turns out you can make these yummy snacks at home. (We promise. If we can do it SO CAN YOU!) Follow our recipe below and you’ll be whipping them up in your kitchen in no time!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has undergone a lot of changes since the park closed in March!
We’ve noted missing snacks, re-appearing snacks, attraction changes, and SO much more. We took a trip out to Rafiki’s Planet Watch to see if we noticed anything different. [Read more…]
