Well, it’s certainly been another fun week for Disney World.

Not only did we get to celebrate Earth Day, but we also got to celebrate Animal Kingdom’s 25th anniversary! We ate a lot of special anniversary and Earth Day snacks and got to meet some super rare characters. While we were doing all that, Disney World restaurants were busy changing up their menus, so we’re going to take a look at all the updates.

It’s been a HUGE week for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Happy 25th, Animal Kingdom!
Not only did we celebrate Earth Day, but we also celebrated Animal Kingdom’s 25th anniversary! We’re also now celebrating the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary ALL over Disney World, so there’s been a LOT going on. So we’re going to get you caught up on all the news from Animal Kingdom!
Waking up at the crack of dawn to buy Genie+, wrangling your family, and creating a detailed game plan for your day in Disney World is EXHAUSTING. You deserve some coffee. Between all the Starbucks locations throughout the parks and the Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea kiosks sprinkled around, you’ve got some premium options in the caffeine department.

Forget that watery gas station coffee — we’ve got a NEW drink recommendation for those of you that run on pixie dust and caffeine when you’re in Disney World.

Animal Kingdom celebrated Earth Day and the park’s 25th anniversary on April 22nd with new entertainment, snacks, and merchandise. But even if you missed the big event, there are still ways to celebrate in the park! For example, you can still find the adorable Pumbaa popcorn buckets at certain popcorn stands throughout Animal Kingdom. Disney just shared another cool way that they marked the occasion, and it involves something that we bet some of you have NEVER seen in person: floppy discs!
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, it’s a good idea to look at the calendar ahead of time.

Not only will the Disney World calendar tell you everything you need to know about the park hours, but it’ll also keep you updated on which attractions have temporary closures scheduled in the future. It’ll certainly put a damper on things if you arrive at the parks to find that your favorite ride is down for refurbishment! With us being Halfway to Halloween, Disney just dropped LOADS of new information about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We also got a peek at some new Halloween merchandise. More importantly, we got to see what Halloween snacks will be available SOON. In the meantime, we’ve had some changes at Disney World restaurants, so let’s see what’s been updated.
The flowers are sprouting, and our seasonal allergies are acting up. That can only mean one thing: springtime has officially arrived. Speaking of spring, one of our favorite springtime holidays is happening NOW — it’s Earth Day! In Disney World, we’ve seen everyone from Disney Springs to Disney’s Animal Kingdom get involved in the festivities.
