We received news earlier this year that Disneyland was “sunsetting” its Annual Passholder program.

Disneyland’s Annual Passholders are now called “Legacy Passholders,” and while they will not receive park admission when Disneyland reopens, they do get some other perks. However, Disneyland’s Annual Pass discontinuation was a bit more complicated for Premier Passport holders — those who had a joint Annual Pass for both Disney World and Disneyland. And although guests can buy them on 2 VERY specific conditions, most people who want a pass have been unable to purchase. This morning, though, there was a glitch on the U.K. Disney site that made it SEEM like you could snag an Annual Pass.

Disneyland Resort’s annual pass system has been discontinued. And currently, you cannot purchase new Disney World Annual Passes (except in very certain cases). Due to continued uncertainty and expected restrictions for reopening Disneyland, Disney recently announced that they will be sunsetting their current Annual Passport program. Some Annual Passport holders are set to receive refunds due to this cancellation, but how much of a refund will they get and who is eligible?
