NEWS: Disney World CONFIRMS Annual Pass Sales Will Resume SOON

Except in very limited cases, new Disney World Annual Passes have NOT been sold since the parks closed last March.

Hey, Donald!

We think there are several reasons why Annual Passes might not have been sold for a while, including Disney World possibly wanting to manage the percentage of Passholders visiting. Not too long ago, a glitch made us think Annual Passes were available to be purchased, but Stitch ate the page (we’re all too familiar with that sight) and we couldn’t complete the purchase. But now things are CHANGING — soon you can buy Disney World Annual Passes once again!

News: PRICING and Details Released for Disneyland’s NEW Magic Key Annual Pass!

Yesterday, Disneyland teased its new Annual Pass program called Magic Key. Disneyland’s previous Annual Passholder program was discontinued at the beginning of this year and we’ve been waiting for its replacement. Let’s learn more about Magic Key!

Annual Pass sales have not returned since Disney World and Disneyland reopened following the closures due to the global pandemic.

Disney World has given no information on when the sale of annual passes would return. And Disneyland announced that they were discontinuing their annual pass program due to the uncertainty of when the resort would reopen. We haven’t heard much about when sales for Disneyland would return…until NOW! We just got some news from Disneyland about annual passes.

Disneyland Legacy Passholders — Don’t Miss Out On Your FREE Magnet!

Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders have had quite the year — first with the parks closing, then having to figure out the chaos of AP payments and renewals, and then the passholder program was canceled altogether in January of 2021. 

It has been a wild year!

Since then, Disney has been offering those who formerly held annual passes (now called Legacy Passholders) a few perks, including discounts, special merchandise, and unique dining opportunities. The perks continue today, with another opportunity to snag the Legacy Passholder Mickey magnet!

NEWS: FREE Annual Passholder MagicBands Being Discontinued in Disney World

Earlier this year, Disney World discontinued FREE MagicBands for guests at its resort hotels.

There Are Lots of MagicBand Designs to Choose From

Annual Passholders could still grab a free MagicBand with Annual Pass purchases (not currently available except in certain specific cases) and renewals. Soon, however, that will all be changing.

Reminder: Premier Passholders…Get on the Phone to Keep That Disney World Annual Pass!

We received news earlier this year that Disneyland was “sunsetting” its Annual Passholder program.

Disneyland’s Annual Passholders are now called “Legacy Passholders,” and while they will not receive park admission when Disneyland reopens, they do get some other perks. However, Disneyland’s Annual Pass discontinuation was a bit more complicated for Premier Passport holders — those who had a joint Annual Pass for both Disney World and Disneyland. And if you ARE a Premier Passholder, we’ve got an important reminder for ya!
