We’re not even talking about all the BIG announcements Disney just made about a new Cars land and Villains land coming to the park. We’re not even talking about the recent reopening of Country Bear Jamboree with a brand new show. Nope, we’re talking about another new ride in the park that could be a lot easier to ride soon enough — and we’re going to tell you why.
It has been a HUGE weekend of announcements and we got a sneak peek at so many new attractions that will be coming to Disney World in the next few years during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Cinderella Castle
We learned more about Pueblo Esperanza which will be replacing DinoLand U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as found out about a Monsters, Inc. land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom also got some big news with BOTH a Villains land and a Cars land announced for the park. There have been some discussions on where these new lands will be going in Magic Kingdom, and we just got some confirmation on where they will be located.Â

That means we’ve learned about how even more Marvel is coming to Disney Parks all over the world. In Disneyland Resort, Avengers Campus is going to expand and add two new rides. At Shanghai Disneyland, a Spider-Man roller coaster is on the way. Plus a new Marvel ride was announced for Hong Kong Disneyland — and we’ve got the details.
If you love Marvel AND Disney Parks, it’s a good time to be a fan of both.
We’ve been at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event all weekend, which means we’ve seen some HUGE announcements revealed about new attractions and experiences coming to Disney Parks all over the world, new expansions for parks, new cruise ships, and more. We’ve learned that Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure is about to double in size with two MORE attractions, but that’s not the only Marvel parks news we have. We also learned about a brand-new Spider-Man ride!

We’re kicking off the season with a visit to the newly-returned Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! We stopped by on the first night of the 2024 party season to check out the offerings, including the entertainment, snacks, and, of course, the trick-or-treating. Nonetheless, the show must go on, and if there’s one thing Disney does best, it’s making sure they do whatever they can to do so. But how do they keep the curtains from closing? Well my little friend, let me introduce you to a little something called ‘B-Mode’.
One of the things about Disney World is that things are always changing, and new things are always right around the corner.

For example, Splash Mountain closed and became a new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Country Bear Jamboree recently got a new show. Test Track is getting a reimagining. So, a classic Disney ride getting updated isn’t a new thing. Now, some fans think that one ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be due for a reimagining, especially with some news that just dropped recently.
In January 2024, Universal Orlando revealed details about the five themed lands that will make up Epic Universe: Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and one we think most people are pretty excited about: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

Genie+ has gone away forever (and we know a lot of folks cheering about that), but it was replaced with a new system called Lightning Lane Multi Pass. But this was WAY more than a name change. Nope, a lot of other changes happened with how you make Lightning Lane selections through Multi Pass. A LOT. We have tested out the system, and we’ve got to warn you: it’s now a lot harder to book Lightning Lane for some rides.
