Well, as you can tell, we’ve been pretty busy covering everything about Disney World’s MASSIVE 50th Anniversary Celebration, and, yes, we ate SO many blue cupcakes! But we also managed to get over to some of Disney World’s hotels to see if anything new was going on with them, so on with the updates!

What a week we’ve had at Disney World! We’ve been trying to make sense of Disney Genie (and we hope we’ve helped you make sense of it, too). We’ve been checking out all the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival booths that have opened early. We’ve been to some restaurant reopenings, too! But we’ve also been to the resorts to see what’s new!

We’ve spent a little time wandering around Disney World’s resorts to see what’s been going on since we were there last. So let’s get on with some updates, shall we?

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Now that the holiday season is in full-swing around Disney World, we’ve seen a ton of new additions make their way to the parks and resorts! So, we decided to take a trip around the Monorail loop hotels to see what new food, merchandise, and construction updates have popped up since our last visit. Let’s take a look!
Before Halloween this year, Disney showed us a TON of villains-based merchandise for the spooky season.

While LOTS of the merchandise showed up in Disney World or online, like the Hades Spirit Jersey, some of it was nowhere to be found. That is, UNTIL NOW!
We hit the holiday snacks jackpot today at Bayview Gifts in Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

We already raved over the Egg Nog Fudge today, and we also took a bite out of the Mickey Mouse Gingerbread Cookie, but now it’s time to sink our teeth into some sticky caramel!
It may only be early November, but we are checking out ALL the holiday snacks in Disney World already!

The Monorail is such an iconic part of Disney World that it even has its own merch — and lots of it! We’ve seen everything from t-shirts to PEZ dispenser displays that rep this classic Disney transportation!
Summer days are HERE and frankly, we’re dreaming of floating around the pool.
