Dining here certainly isn’t cheap, but it’s home to some truly fantastic dining options, desserts, and more, and many of our readers feel it’s a great place to go for a special event or celebration. If you’ve been on the fence about visiting on your next trip, there’s something you should know — they just added to-go cocktails!
If you’ve stayed at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn recently, you may have noticed that a LOT of construction is going on.

There’s a new restaurant in the works, the guest rooms have undergone some refurbishment, and the lobby bathroom has been under construction for a strangely LONG time. Even the Concierge Lounge is currently closed. Unfortunately, this isn’t the end of the list of closures for this resort at the moment. We just found out that a popular restaurant option in the area will soon be closing for refurbishment as well.

Happy Thanksgiving
It might seem like Disney skipped right over Thanksgiving and jumped straight into the festive season (and we won’t lie — they kinda did. Have you seen all those Christmas trees?), but we actually found a few Thanksgiving treats in the parks and at Disney Springs. And you could even get a full Thanksgiving feast at a few different restaurants on the holiday! You might be surprised by the restaurant we chose for our Thanksgiving feast (considering that it’s an Italian restaurant), but by the end of our meal we were convinced — Italians do Thanksgiving RIGHT. A lot of things have been changing in Disneyland recently!

More restaurants have reopened or are set to reopen, the mask policy has changed, temperature checks have ended, the parks are now open to out-of-state guests, fireworks will be coming back, and even the Disneyland Band will be back soon! And now we’ve got news about a new dining experience in Disney California Adventure Park that guests will soon get to enjoy.

This restaurant reopened not too long ago, and we thought it would be an excellent time to stop by, nosh on some classic bar food, and people-watch on the BoardWalk. It’s been a while since we’ve stopped by and dined here, partly because our last experience was less-than-exciting. But with different menu items and a stellar location, has Big River finally moved up our list? Let’s find out.
