NEWS: Opening Date for a NEW Disney World Restaurant Has Been DELAYED

Disney’s BoardWalk has seen some changes recently, with even more to come.

When we heard The Cake Bake Shop was coming to Disney World, we were beyond excited! Sweet and savory menus, afternoon tea service, a whimsical atmosphere…who wouldn’t be excited?! So, in preparation for the opening of this new restaurant, we interviewed the owner, Gwendolyn Rogers, and took a look at what the menu and pricing could be. The restaurant was supposed to open in 2023, but now we just got word that is not happening.

CONFIRMED: A Controversial Menu Item Is Coming to Disney World Soon!

Disney World is getting a few NEW restaurants soon, but one spot could become especially popular!

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs already operates a kiosk in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District and it is home to the controversial PICKLE corn dog (among other unique creations!). But soon this corn dog paradise will be making its way to Disney World and we’ve got some updates!

It’s been a VERY exciting week in Disney World when it comes to food.

A brand new restaurant surprised us and opened early in EPCOT (and we ate a $300 sushi boat with ZERO regrets). The way you book dining on the Disney World website and My Disney Experience app has changed (and we think, it’s for the better). More EPCOT Food and Wine food booths opened, too! PLUS we saw some updates on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s talk about those.

We’re getting so excited about the addition of The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn restaurants and have been anxiously tracking its construction progress. We also saw a complete retheming to the relatively new Boardwalk Deli that was transformed from the Boardwalk Bakery. REVIEW: We Finally Found Great Italian Food in Disney World — Let Me Tell You About it

So, you’ve spent the day in Disney World and are watching the sunset from Disney’s BoardWalk.

After working up an appetite from walking around the parks all day, you decide to grab a bite to eat before calling it a night. Where do you go? There are some great places to check out in the area — Flying Fish offers up some impressive seafood, you can find a simpler meal and some delicious pastries at BoardWalk Deli, and soon, the whimsical Cake Bake Shop will be opening for brunch, lunch, and dinner. But, if you’re in the mood for some Italian fare, Trattoria al Forno fits the bill. They recently reopened after a short refurbishment, so I decided to stop by for dinner to check it out. Come see how it went!
