TRON Lightcycle / Run has opened in Magic Kingdom. Roundup Rodeo BBQ has opened in Hollywood Studios. There’s all kinds of construction still going on over at EPCOT. Disney World hotels are also staying busy right now — so let’s go on a trip around the World’s hotels to see what’s new.

Choosing a Disney hotel is certainly no different. There’s a lot to consider when deciding where to stay while you’re at Disney World, and if you don’t have all the info you might end up disappointed once you get there. So we’re looking at some of the reasons you might regret staying in certain Disney hotels this year.

We’ve got a new DVC building under construction at the Polynesian Village Resort, room refurbishments happening on multiple buildings at the Grand Floridian, and multiple projects underway at Disney’s BoardWalk, including a new restaurant. But one of the smaller projects happening at the BoardWalk might cause some BIG problems.
Disney is no stranger to exclusive experiences, and it’s safe to say that they know how to throw a party!

There are multiple ways to bring your celebration to Disney World, from weddings, to special desserts, to exclusive events. One celebratory Disney experience that many may overlook is the opportunity to book private events within the parks and resorts.

We got a chance to check out Roundup Rodeo BBQ, an all-NEW restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We got a list of all the St. Patrick’s Day treats coming to Disney World. We even managed to check out some new Easter snacks! There were also some changes at Disney World restaurants, so let’s see what happened!
There are a LOT of new restaurants opening soon in Disney World, and we can’t wait to try them all! Roundup Rodeo BBQ and Summer House on the Lake are a couple of examples, but our sweet tooth is craving The Cake Bake Shop.
The Boardwalk
The bakery’s third location is coming to Disney’s Boardwalk later this year. We already have an idea of what the menu and pricing will be like based on its other locations, and we’ve even interviewed the owner and founder, Gwendolyn Rogers. We just got a sneak peek of what some of the decorations could be when this new location opens!
February might’ve been a short month, but a LOT happened when it comes to Disney World food.

First, we ate a TON of Valentine’s Day treats. We also said goodbye to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. Between all the news about Reedy Creek and changes made to park pass reservations AND Genie+, we also had a lot of Disney World restaurant menu updates.

The resort lobby recently got a new coffee shop, newly refurbished rooms are underway, and there’s a NEW table service restaurant coming to the BoardWalk later this year! Now, there’s news of even more construction and closures coming to this resort that might affect your experience soon.
Well, we made it through Valentine’s Day, but y’all, we ate a LOT of pink and red snacks. SO MANY.

Before you know it, we’ll be eating a lot of green food for St. Patrick’s Day (here are all the snacks from last year) and looking forward to some new restaurants (Cake Bake Shop, we are READY FOR YOU) to open at some point. In the meantime, we’re keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus and tracking changes, so let’s get on with some updates!
