If you are heading to Magic Kingdom in the next few days, we have some important news about one of its iconic attractions!
One of Magic Kingdom’s attractions is suddenly closed down and we have the details for you about when it will be reopening.Â
It is no secret that you do a lot of walking when visiting Disney World.
While it is good to get those steps in, we like to take shortcuts around the parks to help us save a few steps and also take a break. If you are visiting EPCOT, it can be a long walk to get from Spaceship Earth to the World Showcase, especially if you are visiting a country in the middle like the American Adventure. There is actually a way that you can save some steps between World Showcase, and we feel that not many people realize that they can take this shortcut!
It’s certainly no secret that Disney World has gone through some significant changes lately — and more updates are on the way.
Disney has confirmed that a Dinoland U.S.A. re-theme in Animal Kingdom and a Beyond Big Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom are currently in the works, though they’ve been keeping the specifics of those projects pretty quiet. A while back, Disney filed a patent that led us to believe a potential Moana ride was in the works, and now we have an update!
Disney World offers a plethora of hotels for your vacation, with 3 different tiers and nearly 30 options. Rest assured, you and your party will find a hotel that perfectly suits your needs!
That said, not all hotels are created equal, and depending on your party, certain hotels might not be the right fit. We tend to avoid these three hotels, and here is why.
We can’t be the only ones who have dreamed of driving our own boat around the Magic Kingdom, right? Taking in the views and feeling the breeze in our hair!Â
Well, we have good news if you have ever had a similar dream. You can make those dreams a reality and drive a pontoon boat around Disney World.
Magic Kingdom has A LOT going on right now! We are expecting lots of new things including a new Country Bear show called Country Bear Musical Jamboree and a new smelling experience coming to Storybook Circus.Â
And, of course, we’ve got Tiana’s Bayou Adventure coming right up! However, we noticed that Disney World has changed something major between the original concept art and today for this attraction…let’s take a look.
There are so many transportation options at Disney World!Â
Transportation to and from the parks can be a ride in itself! You can hop aboard a Skyliner gondola and take in the views of Disney World from above. You might find yourself in an adorably wrapped Disney bus. Regardless of how you get to the park, different modes of transportation operate at different times so we wanted to give you an overview of all the transportation options available at Disney World!
One of the best perks of staying in a Disney World hotel is the free transportation!
Between the monorail, Skyliner, buses, and boats — there are plenty of options. But sometimes, not all options are available when you need them. This was the case in early June when transportation to and from Disney Springs to some hotels via boat was suspended, forcing folks to find other means. Cast Members shared conflicting stories about the halted service, but we’re not too worried anymore as the boats are running once again!
If you’re hoping to get to Disney Springs for some shopping and dining in the upcoming days, there’s a situation happening there that could impact your plans.
You might be familiar with how to get to Disney Springs via your own car (and park in the designated parking lots) or via the Disney World buses. Select hotels also typically offer boat transportation to Disney Springs — a special perk! But, that perk isn’t so great when it’s not available…
One of the best things about splurging for one of the resorts along the Monorail line is their proximity to Magic Kingdom.
Not only can you get to the park quickly, but usually you have a variety of transportation options that leaves you split for choice! Unfortunately, one of the most convenient options will be going away for a while.
