TODAY is the opening day of the 2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!
We’ve already tried allll the new menu items from every single food booth, so we decided to take on a new challenge — Emile’s Fromage Montage!
The 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicks off August 29th and runs for a record 87 days until November 23. This year’s Festival features more than 35 Marketplace Booths (food booths) which means there’s something for everyone throughout World Showplace and Future World!
Of course, with all of those food booths you might be wondering “Where do I start planning what I want to eat?” Here at DFB we have two great resources to help you plan: first, be sure to check out ALL the menus for this year’s Festival and second get your copy of the DFB Guide to the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
And in this year’s edition of the DFB Guide, we’ve got our brand new My Little Piggy Booth Crawl that we can’t wait to share with you!
Today is the FIRST DAY of the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
From now through November 12th, the Festival will offer all sorts of extra culinary fun around Epcot. And a HUGE highlight are the Food Booths lining World Showcase and popping up in Future World celebrating global cuisine with enhanced food offerings.
If you’re planning your visit to this year’s Festival, then you’ll want to start putting together your MUST EAT list… and that’s where we come in! The DFB Team tried every item at the Festival to show you the items you can’t miss!
Are you ready? Because here we GOOOO!!!
doesn’t disappoint with the Maple Bourbon Boursin Cheesecake.
This creamy, decadent treat is made better-than-your-usual-cheesecake (and that’s saying something!!) thanks to that hint of bourbon in the caramel sauce.
BUT, the Sparkling Blueberry Wine by Florida Orange Groves Winery also came as a surprise! [Read more…]
We wait all year for the start of it. Yep — the Epcot Food and Wine Festival is underway!
If you haven’t been, be sure to put the event on your Disney Bucket List. At this time of year, Epcot is transformed into a food lover’s paradise. With Festival Marketplace Booths throughout both Future World and World Showcase, the opportunity to Eat Your Way Around the World(s) is even more exciting!
But then there are also so many events to attend. From free options like book signings and Back to Basics Seminars, to Low Cost Seminars and Demonstrations, there are lots of less expensive options.
But there are also some choices if you’d like to splurge a little. Party for the Senses draws big crowds every year, as do pairing events and signature dining options at restaurants throughout the resort.
It’s a lot to plan for! So we’d love to offer you advice on a few Dos and Don’ts for navigating the Epcot Food and Wine Festival like a pro. Consider these pointers as you make plans to attend this year’s event. [Read more…]

We are just a little over a month away from the start of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and it’s all starting to fall into place!
Soon, we’ll be hanging out, trying new things and enjoying old favorites at Marketplace Booths. And with 35 booths to choose from, situated within World Showcase as well as Future World, there are tons of great eats and drinks to choose from!
We expect to eat way more than 12 things 😉 — but you need to start somewhere! So whether you’re crunched for time, on a budget, or just want the CliffsNotes version of what you’ve gotta try, we’re getting you ready for this year’s Dine Around by sharing the 12 Things You MUST Eat at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
OK, this is not only new to the Festival…it’s completely new altogether! One of our favorite breweries has done it again. Previously known for their grapefruit beer, this festival-exclusive (YEP, you can ONLY get it at the festival!) Pomegranate variety is off the charts. Find it at the Brewers Collection Booth!
The Canada Booth is the undisputed champion of the festival. No — seriously. Sales at this booth top all others (which has been known to spark a little competition among the “countries,” we hear).
And while it’s a given that we’re stopping here for the Le Cellier Filet, you might have a hard choice to make between this dish (it’s soooo gooooooood) and the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup.
So do what we do. Don’t choose. [Read more…]

If you’ve been hanging around here much at all, then you know that we love the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
And what’s not to love?? In 2016, we’ll have two full months to Dine Around the Promenade at Marketplace Booths, take in Special Events and Demos, and generally soak up this culinary immersion.
So we focus a lot on things you Must Try! (Grown up frozen drinks!!) and things that you Can’t Miss! (Parisian Breakfast!!) But what about the “Don’ts”?
With 20 years of Food and Wine Festival experience under our belts, we think we know a thing or two about having a good time at F&W. 😉 So today, allow us to share our list for the Mistakes We’d Like to Help You to Avoid as you plan your visit to this year’s Festival!
Put on your stretchy pants and comfy shoes, and get your DFB Food and Wine Tray ready. Time to head in!
There’s a reason that we tell you to be on the phone first thing bright and early on the day that Special Events, including Seminars and Demonstrations, open. These events sell out quickly — especially the ones featuring celebrity chefs.
All isn’t lost, though, if you didn’t book the second the phone lines opened. You will be able to book some events, especially the Low-Cost daily seminars and demos, right up to the time of the event.
Still, it’s best to plan ahead. So if you haven’t already done so, call now and square away those reservations. It’s one less thing you’ll need to worry about when you arrive. [Read more…]

You may think that you couldn’t possibly enjoy the Epcot Food and Wine Festival with kiddos along for the ride. But we think you totally can!
While the festival is certainly a food lover’s paradise, there’s no reason that you can’t enjoy a day there with the younger set, too. After all, Epcot is first and foremost a theme park, so even during the Food and Wine Festival, you’ll find plenty of exhibits and entertainment geared toward the small fry.
We love coming up with strategies that help you to enjoy eating your way through Walt Disney World, no matter who’s along for the ride. So if you like what you see here, be sure to check out our 2016 DFB Guide to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival for even more great tips on managing the event with kids along.
In the meantime, check out these suggestions for making the festival fun for everyone in your party!
If you have kids that are interested in what happens in the kitchen, consider checking out what Culinary Demonstrations are available at the Festival Center for the day. Kids are permitted to attend these events with a ticket (but aren’t served alcohol, obviously). We think it’s great fun, especially for older kiddos in your party. Who knows? A future chef may be born!
If your budget allows, you may even want to check out the brand new Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Hands On Workshops. New in 2016, these events take place once a day, and offer guests the chance to get in on the action of exploring and creating. [Read more…]

The 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival is just about ready to kick off!
We are just days away from the start of the Festival, which gets underway this Friday, September 25. And we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the special event!
With more than seven weeks to party, there’s plenty of time to enjoy every bite and drink that you have on your list.
And speaking of, we’re celebrating our very favorite food items that are on our Disney Food Bucket List — with this special edition of #OnTheList: Epcot Food and Wine Festival Favorites!
Ready to stroll the Promenade? Let’s head out!
Nothing like starting with dessert, right? And if you’re going to limit your sweets at this year’s Festival, then the Fresh Baked Carrot Cake with Craisins® and Cream Cheese Icing has to be on your short list.
You’ll find this dreamy little cake at the Hops & Barley Booth, halfway around World Showcase — and the perfect spot to indulge in a decadent treat.
If you’re a frosting fan like I am, you may be concerned that the warm, liquid-y frosting won’t cut it when it comes to your craving — but I guarantee you, it will. Just be sure to ask for extra!

Yay!
The 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival FULL Booth Menus are now available!
While we wait together for the beginning of this year’s Food and Wine Festival, I’ll share some of the brand new items we can’t wait to try this year!
For the first time in the history of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, the fun is officially expanding into Future World, as the first ever Marketplace Booths will be located in this part of the park.
Named Next Eats, this area, inspired by the ABC food talk show The Chew, will host two different booths (and the food at these booths is actually pretty delicious!). The Sustainable Chew Marketplace Booth will feature [Read more…]

We are coming to you LIVE from the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival this week!
It’s been a whirlwind of fabulous food and we have so much to tell you about! But today, we thought we’d bring you our very first Marketplace Booths of 2013.
Let’s take a closer look at two new booths — one brand new and one returning — Scotland and Brazil.
If you’re looking for your favorite booths, be sure to check out ALL the info and brand new photos on our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booth Pages.
Following the success of the popular animated film Brave, it seemed like the right time for Scotland to debut as the Food and Wine Festival’s newest booth option.
We’ve been anxiously awaiting final word on what would be served to represent Scotland, and the final menu was met with mixed reviews from readers.
In the end, sponsors of the Scotland booth and Disney chose a menu that would represent some current trends in Scottish cooking and that would appeal to a broad audience.
Salmon is always a popular option with festival goers, and the Seared Scottish Salmon with Cauliflower Puree, Watercress and Malt Vinaigrette is proving to be a great addition to this year’s lineup! In fact, it made our Best of the Fest List!
