Even if the specific name of “Disney’s Walk Around the World” doesn’t ring a bell with you, you may still be quite familiar with the sight of the hexagonal bricks displaying names and celebrating family milestones on the walkways surrounding Magic Kingdom and the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC).
As “improvements are being made to how you come and go at all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks,” Disney has announced that the reconfiguring of walkways and tram loading and unloading zones (along with enhancements to security screening) will result in the retiring of the Walk Around the World bricks in the coming months.
