The Cake Bake Shop is officially open at Disney World for an extravagant dining experience!

The new restaurant and bakery are along the boardwalk right by Disney’s BoardWalk Inn resort. It features an elegant interior, an amazing environment, and delicious food. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while the bakery is open daily from 7AM to 11PM for you to stop by and try some yummy pastries and desserts. Recently, a new dining option was added to the list — Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea. We’ve tried breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the bakery and shared a first look at those options for you, and now Gwendolyn Rogers, the owner, has shared a first look at the afternoon tea experience!

Many people were disappointed to see such high prices on the menu, while those who have tried it have thoroughly enjoyed the food, giving it high praise. It is a very elegant dining location, perfect for a celebration such as an anniversary or birthday. There is both a bakery side and a restaurant side, which has only been available for reservations on the OpenTable app or website. It has been a long time coming, but The Cake Bake Shop has officially soft opened on Disney World’s BoardWalk!

We have been going to this new spot to try so many different treats! We had breakfast and dinner, and of course, we had to try the controversial $23 slices of cake. While there has been backlash from Disney fans about the menu pricing, we have to say that The Cake Bake Shop serves up delicious meals and baked goods. It may not be an everyday restaurant, but it is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. And speaking of celebrating, on top of being a bakery and restaurant, you can also grab a drink at The Cake Bake Shop’s champagne bar!

We’re finally getting a chance to eat at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk!

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is opening on Disney’s BoardWalk, located right near Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, later this year. It was originally slated to open in late 2023, qand didn’t. Then it was slated for early 2024, and it also didn’t open then. Just NOW are we starting to see signs that it’ll be open before the end of this year. However, Disney fans have some THOUGHTS about this new spot now that the menu has been revealed, and trust us, we hear you!
