Just a few nights ago, fireworks returned to Disney World at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
But weather concerns can impact fireworks shows at Disney World. Today, a flood watch was announced for the Disney World area and a Tornado Watch was also issued for part of Disney World, ahead of Tropical Storm Elsa. Now it looks like the weather concerns in Disney World are impacting some of the fireworks shows.
Due to the global pandemic, quite a few events at Disney World were canceled last year, including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Candlelight Processional, and others.
Now, we have received an update from Disney World about one upcoming holiday event — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Early last year, Disney Cruise Line began suspending some of its sailings due to the global pandemic.
Disney officials did note that the cruise line would be the last of Disney’s businesses to return. Most recently, Disney Cruise Line canceled sailings through February of 2021, but we also saw that they had removed March sailings from their website. Now, Disney Cruise Line has extended the cancelation of their sailings through more of 2021.
We’ve seen quite a few updates from Adventures by Disney regarding their future departures. Most recently, Adventures by Disney extended their change policy further into 2021, and shared details about the private adventures being introduced in 2021.
Adventures by Disney also previously canceled all departures through February 2021, but that cancellation has now been extended for many trips through further in 2021.
Although Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park must remain closed under California’s current theme park reopening guidelines, several changes are coming to Disneyland Resort very soon!
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be reopening soon for Disney Vacation Club Members and Buena Vista Street at California Adventure Park is set to open for limited dining and shopping later this month. Now, we’ve got another update related to reservations at Disneyland Resort hotels.
Although Disney executives have made the case for Disneyland Resort to reopen soon, and we’ve seen some signs showing that Disneyland is preparing to welcome guests, an official reopening date for the Disneyland Resort theme parks has not yet been set.
