The Food & Wine Festival isn’t over yet at EPCOT, but we’re already preparing for the next festival on the calendar!

Happy Holidays from EPCOT!

The International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 25th-December 30th this year, and there are lots of special holiday offerings throughout. You can see holiday storytellers in the various countries, eat copious amounts of sweets on the Holiday Cookie Stroll, or even meet Santa Claus! But perhaps one of the most popular events is the Candlelight Processional, and some changes were just made to the lineup of narrators.

Candlelight Processional Narrator Change for December 24th and 25th at the 2018 Epcot Festival of the Holidays

We have a change to report to the list of celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional at the 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. The Candlelight Processional is a popular event where the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir accompany the re-telling.

We now have the complete list of Celebrity Narrators for Epcot’s Candlelight Processional!

Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional is performed three times each night at the America Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion. During the event, the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir (composed of a Disney cast member choir along with an ever-changing group of guest choirs from around the country) accompany the re-telling. News! More Narrators Added to Epcot’s Candlelight Processional List

Two brand new narrators and two returning narrators have been added to the list for the 2017 Epcot Candlelight Processional!

Warwick Davis from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (Wicket!) and Willow, and Matt Bomer from White Collar and The Last Tycoon will be joining the Processional for the first time.

And returning to the Processional will be Whoopi Goldberg (honored as a Disney Legend this year) and Chandra Wilson form Grey’s Anatomy. [Read more…]

News: 2014 Disney World Candlelight Processional Narrators

Editor’s Note: Sharon Stone has been removed from the 2014 line-up.

One of the highlights of Disney World’s holiday season is Epcot’s Candlelight Processional!

Although subject to change, the list of narrators is trickling in. And so far, we have two new celebrities — Sharon Stone and Ana Gasteyer — this year!

Disney World’s Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional will be performed three times each night from November 28 – December 30, 2014.

The popular show includes the telling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator who is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, and a choir composed of Disney cast members and guest choirs from around the country.

Seating for the Candlelight Processional is first-come, first-served, and you do need to get in line at least an hour in advance to get a seat. However, if you book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, you have guaranteed seating as well as guaranteed VIP viewing of Epcot’s fireworks spectacular, IllumiNations, Reflections of Earth, after the show! All this in addition to a lunch or dinner meal at a select Epcot restaurant.
