There are a number of restaurants that have yet to reopen at Disney World following last year’s closures, including Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!

While Beach Club is not scheduled to reopen until May 3oth, we noticed some activity happening at Cape May Cafe that caught our attention!
Last fall we saw Disney World’s Refillable Mugs, Minnie Ears, and many popular park snack and beverage options receive minor prices increases.

That was just the tip of the tiny price increase iceberg! Over the last few weeks, we’ve spotted several small price hikes. They may not seem like much at first, but when you roll them all together, they start to add UP! But what effect will all of Disney World’s little price increases have on your trip? We scour menus to try to find the monetary values, but we also consider food quality and the atmosphere in which guests dine. Because it doesn’t matter how much money you’re saving by using your credits if the restaurant’s environment and food are duds.
Easily one of the most spectacular restaurants in terms of decor and ambiance, Morimoto Asia in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs also offers tremendous value. But the best part? The food is outstanding!

Dinner at Morimoto Asia is a signature affair and requires two DDP credits, but for 2018, lunch remains one credit — and it’s a credit very well spent! Some entrees here cost nearly $40, and there are plenty of options for alcoholic beverages if you’re looking to up your value even further.
If you’re starting your day with Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in Disney’s Beach Club Resort, then you’ll be able to say “Good Morning” to another Disney pal!
