Well, here we are at the end of the year, and it HAS BEEN A YEAR, hasn’t it?
This year saw a TON of new price increases at Disney World restaurants, as well as tons of other changes. We’ve also seen the return of buffets and character dining. Just this week, we’ve had a few changes — so let’s go over those now.
This is one of the BEST times of year to stay at a Disney World hotel.
Why? Because the holiday decorations are up, the Christmas trees are in the lobbies, the gingerbread displays are out, and the spirit of the holidays is EVERYWHERE. But there’s way more than just holiday stuff going on at Disney World hotels, so let’s see what’s new!
We couldn’t imagine a better time to visit Disney World hotels.
Between the decorations and Christmas trees, the gingerbread displays, and new snacks, the holiday season is the perfect time to resort hop if you have time! But there’s a lot more going on at the hotels, too, so let’s see what kind of updates we have for you!

Disney World hotels are the place to BE around the holidays!
We’ve seen decor go up around the parks, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off in just a few days, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is just around the corner. But the hotels have so much holiday cheer as well — you’ll find fun decor, special gingerbread displays, and exclusive treats. So let’s look at the latest updates from the Disney World hotels!
October has come and gone, but WOW!
A LOT happened in the spookiest month of the year, and we’re not even talking about all the Halloween stuff. We saw a Disney World restaurant that has been closed since 2020 FINALLY reopen and we ate a LOT of fall snacks. We also saw A LOT of menu updates at Disney World restaurants, and we’re laying them all out for you right here.
Last week, loads of menu updates and price increases hit Disney World restaurants.
This week, we got some big news about the reopening of Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT and got a reopening date for Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios, as well as the return of the Fantasmic! dining packages. We’ve got menu updates, too, so let’s take a look at those.
Wow! What a month! It’s hard to believe September has already come and gone.
We’ve been celebrating a lot throughout the month, too — we’ve been enjoying Halloween since August (including a night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party), we’ve been celebrating Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month with a TON of amazing food, and we’re still reeling from all the announcements made at this year’s D23 Expo! But we’ve also been following Disney World restaurant menus and tracking EVERY change!
