This year marks the 10th anniversary of Cars Land opening in Disney California Adventure Park! There are so many ways to celebrate the occasion, with Car-acter meet and greets, photo ops, food, merchandise, and of course — rides! And speaking of rides, one character, who has an attraction themed after him in Cars Land, also got his own popcorn bucket to celebrate the special occasion and it’s something you’ve GOT to see!

Cars Land Ride to Temporarily CLOSE in Disneyland

Disney California Adventure’s Cars Land is smokin’ — literally! In May of 2022, a ride vehicle on Radiator Spring Racers started releasing smoke shortly after it crossed the finish line. (Talk about burning rubber!)

Thrillseekers can enjoy Radiator Springs Racers, while Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree are more family-friendly rides. When we took a look at Disney California Adventure’s calendar today, we noticed that TWO of these Cars Land rides are not showing any times on some dates, meaning they may be closing for refurbishment soon. If you’ve ever visited Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, you’ll know how much attention to detail Disney put into that land. You’ll also be familiar with Flo’s V-8 Cafe, the Route 66 inspired diner where you can grab some classic American comfort food, including Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken. Now there’s a new souvenir honoring that dining spot!
