The life of a Disney Cast Member is pretty unique — your day consists of waving bubble wands around, talking to a mouse, and pressing buttons to make elephants spin around in the sky. But Cast Member s clock in and clock out just like the rest of the world, which means they covet that precious lunch break just like us.

So, remember how we said the job has some unique aspects? Well, when you’re a Magic Kingdom Cast Member, guess what you can get for lunch? Magic Kingdom food! But you’ve probably never seen a Haunted Mansion Cast Member in line at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, right?

It’s time to set the record straight. Yes, Disney World Cast Members work for a mouse, and yes, it’s a super fun and rewarding job (if you like Disney, anyway), but there are some things people STILL get wrong about being a Cast Member.
