It’s been a BUSY week at Disney World. We’re gearing up for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (and we now have menus and a sneak peek at merchandise).

The holidays have officially arrived in Disneyland. There’s snow on the castle, holiday merchandise in the shops, and loads of holiday snacks at restaurants
“it’s a small world” Disneyland
Another Disneyland holiday tradition, though, involves the classic attraction “it’s a small world.” The holiday overlay of the ride just reopened — and there’s been a HUGE addition to the ride. For the first time in history, “it’s a small world” has dolls in wheelchairs.
✨ It’s TIME ✨ — Fantasmic! is coming back to Disney World!
Fantasmic! is back!
Fantasmic! has been closed since the parks shut down in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve been watching construction from a bird’s eye view on the stage for a while now, and Disney teased its return a few times. As of November 3rd, the show is back in the parks, and we were invited to a media event to check out the show a day early — let’s see what has changed!
One of Disney World’s most popular nighttime shows is finally coming BACK in November!

Fantasmic!, the nighttime spectacular which is offered at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will FINALLY return to Disney World on November 3rd after being closed since 2020. (Fantasmic! reopened in Disneyland in May.) And while we’ll once again be able to catch Sorcerer Mickey in the battle of good and evil, not everything will be the same. Disney World is constantly changing!
EPCOT
Sometimes we see those changes coming and sometimes we don’t. Last month, a few things definitely caught us off guard. Here are the three most unexpected things that happened in Disney World in August!
When it comes to food, we’ve had quite an exciting month.
Snow White Mini Petit Cake
Not only have we been able to start trying all the Halloween treats in Disney World, but we also got to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. PLUS, we also got try out some princess-themed treats for World Princess week. ALL the food. However, August also brought some changes to Disney World restaurant menus.
Disney World rides are changing all the time — sometimes it’s a major overhaul (like The Great Movie Ride becoming Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway), and sometimes it’s just small updates and general refurbishments.
Tomorrowland

Now don’t get too excited. No, Happily Ever After isn’t back, and no, Wishes has not made its return to Magic Kingdom. The Most Magical Place on Earth is still showing off its 50th Anniversary Disney Enchantment fireworks, but those fireworks now feature a new segment that might just tug at your heartstrings!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is going through some major changes like the upcoming Boardwalk Deli, the new Cake Bake Shop, and more. While these changes are currently taking place, Disney is offering a few new drinks to combat the summer heat and add a little sweetness to your day!
Everything is ALWAYS changing in Disney World, but maybe that’s one of the things that makes it so exciting.
