Disney Merriest Nites at Disneyland Park is a new after-hours holiday event taking place on five different nights throughout November and December 2021.
We had the chance to visit the first night of this new holiday event and we experienced ALL the entertainment, including six unique holiday parties hosted by different Disney characters throughout Disneyland AND a Christmas parade!

We went to the first Disney Very Merry After Hours this week, saw the iconic gingerbread house go up in the Grand Floridian, found new decorations in the parks, and tried more festive food. The other night, we saw Santa at Disney Very Merriest After Hours in Magic Kingdom, and today, we spotted him at a couple of the other parks!

This year, most of the celebrations kick off on November 12th, with the Disney Very Merriest After Hours starting a few days earlier on November 8th. There’s going to be so much to check out throughout the two months of the holiday season and we can’t wait to share it all — including a popular character meal that’s returning!
For a while now, we’ve been able to say “hello” to Mickey, Minnie, and more Disney pals through distanced photo ops and character cavalcades.
But, soon character meet-and-greets will be returning to Disney World in a modified way. In October 2021, Disney announced that character meet-and-greets would be coming back with changes. After over a year, Disney Cruises have recently started to sail again, including the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder. And soon, the Disney Fantasy will be setting sail again.
