The Best Snacks in Disneyland for 2024
Updated: March 18th, 2024
Some Disney treats, like Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, Mickey-shaped Pretzels, and even the famous (or infamous, depending on your perspective) Turkey Legs, can be found at Disney parks on both coasts. But today we’re dedicating this post to help you track down the best DISNEYLAND treats!
For the purposes of this list, these are either snacks that you can only find in Disneyland Resort (at Disneyland park or Disney California Adventure) or snacks that Disneyland simply does them better than anywhere else. Without further ado… THIS is our list of the top snacks in Disneyland Resort for 2024! [Read more…]
The DFB Bi-Coastal Disney Grilled Cheese Crawl!!!!!!
If you haven’t heard the big news, I’m here to deliver it: April is Grilled Cheese Month. And that, my friends, is a food holiday that we can totally get behind.
Because we know of a BUNCH of seriously worthy grilled cheese choices in the Disney parks and resorts that we can’t wait to tell you about!
And if you love what you see here, be sure to check out our 2017 DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining, which includes tons of bonus features, like fun food crawls throughout Walt Disney World!
Now pack your bags and your stretchy pants, cause it’s time to head to both coasts to partake in the Disney Food Blog Grilled Cheese Crawl!
(Should there be Rocky music playing here or something? I feel like there should be.)
Who’s coming with? Let’s go!
Our first stop: Walt Disney World!
Pimento Grilled Cheese, Planet Hollywood Observatory
If you were there with us when Planet Hollywood Observatory opened (or actually, reopened) its doors earlier this year, then you know that we weren’t all that impressed with most of what we tried. But there was one standout: the Pimento Grilled Cheese.
The triple decker sandwich is two meals in one. First, you have a fairly traditional Grilled Cheese, spiced up with the addition of Pimento Cheese. But then, the second story involved super cheesy Mac and Cheese layered between crunchy Grilled Bread. Yep, that’s A Layer of Carbs on Top of More Carbs. And we are completely fine with that. Our Favorite Savory Snacks in Disneyland
Here at DFB, we talk a little about sweet snacks. You know, now and then.
Ok. We talk about them a LOT. And when we aren’t talking about them, it’s probably because we’re eating them. So we can talk about them some more.
But that shouldn’t lead you to believe that we love savory snacks any less.
I’ve talked about many of my favorite sweets, and even a few sweet and salty options. But today, I’m giving the post over completely to the non-sweet team.
These guys can double as a meal if you’d like them to. Or they can just give you that little boost between breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Let’s take a closer look at some of my favorites.
Flavored Popcorn at Cozy Cone Motel
Recently, I discovered a stand in Epcot that’s offering one of the best things ever — Flavored Popcorn! While we’ve seen the reports of such delights from Tokyo Disneyland, it’s the first time something besides Caramel Corn has made much of a splash at Walt Disney World.
But that isn’t the case at Disneyland, where Flavored Popcorn has been a mainstay of at the Cozy Cone Motel since it opened!
And inside that Popcone, there are some yummy Flavored Popcorn options. They change up every once in a while, so you’ll never know what you might get!
Personally, I’d be pretty happy with either Dill Pickle OR Nacho Cheese!
Which one would you choose?
Skewers and Tiger Tails at Bengal Barbecue
is one of my favorite stops for a quick bite in all of Disneyland. In fact, it made my Top 10 List of Favorite Disneyland Fast Food Joints.
The spot is little more than a stand with a grill. Don’t look for scads of seating; there’s not much. But what they do have plenty of are delicious savory bites that can serve as either a snack or a meal.
And the name of the game here is Meat on Skewers. (Okay…there are a few veggies, too.)
I have a hard time choosing a favorite at Bengal, so I’ll show you a bunch! I like to get a few of the different options and share. (Or not.)
I recommend starting with the Chieftain Chicken Skewer. Chunks of Chicken Meat are grilled and then smothered in a sweet, slightly spicy Chili Sauce.
But then, ya gotta try the [Read more…]
Disney’s Best Grilled Cheese

Dining in Disneyland: The Return of the Corn Dog Castle!
Heather Sievers has some great Dining in Disneyland news this week — the Corn Dog Castle is back in action!
Nestled between Seaside Souvenirs and what will soon be the new Goofy’s Sky School ride is a little gem that’s been closed for quite some time. When I heard last week that Corn Dog Castle had reopened, it was almost too good to be true. So, of course I had to go and see it to believe it.
Although corn dogs have been available at California Adventure during the closure (first at Farmer’s Market, which eventually closed for the construction of Cars Land, and then at Award Wieners in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot), it was not the same as getting one from the original corn dog king.
Seeing it open again was almost as exciting as [Read more…]
