Hello and welcome to your weekly Disney news wrap-up!
From all kinds of holiday news to a hotel opening, lots of things have happened in the Disney parks over the past few days. Let’s break down what you need to know right here.
We hope you’re feeling in the Christmas spirit this week!
Disney World is certainly diving right into the holiday season. We’ve already seen decorations arrive in Magic Kingdom AND Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Before today, there were only a few baubles in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — but that’s ALL CHANGED.
It’s November, and that means that it’s officially time to start preparing for Christmas…well, at least according to Disney!
Decorations have started arriving in the theme parks and we’re itching to try out the new holiday snacks very soon. But if you can’t get to Disney World just yet, there’s quite a bit of holiday merchandise online to shop, including a very unique Christmas tree!
It’s finally November, which in Disney World, means the start of the holiday season!
After Halloween on October 31st, Cast Members worked overnight to transform Magic Kingdom into a Christmas-y wonderland, complete with a gigantic tree, wreaths down Main Street, U.S.A., and so much more. But, it seems that not every spot in Disney World got the holiday memo…because we’re living in a really weird Twilight Zone version of the parks right now!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Disney World!
Well, it’s actually been looking like Christmas since before Halloween, with some decorations going up in mid-October and new holiday merchandise being put out super early in stores. But, now that Halloween is over, we’re really going to see the decorating kick into high gear. We’ve already seen a holiday ride overlay start in EPCOT, festive decor go up in Animal Kingdom, and the Christmas tree go up in Magic Kingdom! And today, we saw another big part of the holidays arrive in Disney World!
Halloween may have just ended, and it’s very much still the middle of fall, but that isn’t stopping Disney from already celebrating the holidays!
Disney World doesn’t mess around when it comes to the holiday season, with some decorations going up literal weeks before Halloween this year. There has also been new holiday merchandise spotted in the parks, the first Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours event is coming up soon, and we know about all the special holiday food coming to Disney this holiday season. Today, we spotted another reason to get excited for the season!
Disney World’s Haunted Mansion is an iconic part of Magic Kingdom.
If you’re a Haunted Mansion fan, you might LOVE collecting Haunted Mansion merchandise, watching specials themed to the attraction, and more. If you love the Haunted Mansion, then you’ve probably seen and maybe wanted to snatch up the EPIC Haunted Mansion replica ornament. Well, this ornament is available in Disney World right now and we’re sharing everything you need to know to grab it!
It’s July and you know what that means…it’s time to start celebrating the holiday season!
We’ve already celebrated #HalfwayToTheHolidays with some special announcements from Disney, and now we’re continuing the fun with some Christmas in July celebrations! Today we’re taking a look at some special holiday secrets in Disney World that you should know about. We’re talking about all of those things that pop up during the holidays that are totally underrated and often overlooked. How many of these have you totally skipped over in the past?
Disneyland Resort is full of so much Disney history, but did you know that Walt Disney has a secret apartment in the Disneyland Park?
It’s on Main Street above Disneyland’s firehouse — Walt had it built during Disneyland’s construction so that he could watch his dream come to life! And despite most of Disneyland remaining closed throughout the holiday season, Walt’s Apartment still got a holiday makeover this year.
