There are TONS of things to do and see in Disney World!
Cinderella Castle
Each park has lots of rides, shows, dining options, character meet-and-greets, and more. Unfortunately, some of those attractions have to be closed for refurbishment every once in a while. If you take a look at Disney World’s websites or wander around the parks, you’ll notice that 13(!!) attractions will continue to be closed this week!
We go to Disney World for the food, but the rides are definitely up there on our list of things to do!
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Jumping on a fun roller coaster or flying through the galaxy are great ways to spend our days in the parks. Unfortunately, there are two rides in Disney World that we still can’t ride! Hopefully, they will both be opening soon. Let’s take a look at these two closed rides and everything else that is unavailable due to refurbishments this coming week.

A popular Disney World restaurant that has been closed since 2020 is finally reopening this week! We can’t wait to dive into the new offerings that will be served at this adorable and delicious dining location. You’ll get to dine with characters and even try a beloved soup (yep, a soup!). Even though this restaurant is opening once again, there are still lots of attractions closed in Disney World. Let’s take a look at everything closed for refurbishment this coming week.
Can you believe it is already April?!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
That means that we’re inching closer and closer to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Country Bear Jamboree re-opening! Disney hasn’t announced an opening date for either of these attractions, but we’ve been noticing some big changes over at the Frontierland ride! Let’s check them out and see what else will remain closed this week.

Are you planning to visit Disney World in April?
EPCOT
It’s a great time to visit Disney World, that’s for sure! You’re likely to get good weather that isn’t TOO hot just yet (although it might be rainy). Spring Break should be over, which means you won’t have serious crowds to contend with. The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival will still be going on, so you can enjoy all the beautiful topiaries AND amazing food. But we want to warn you about some things if you’re visiting in April, too.
So, we’ve been seeing a trend in Disney World recently.
Splash Mountain
Over the past few years, we’ve seen some things close FOREVER at Disney World. We witnessed the last EVER day of Splash Mountain. We watched Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser open and then close only about a year later. We were there when Country Bear Jamboree performed its last show (okay, not TECHNICALLY its last show, but the show IS changing, so it feels like we were saying goodbye). Although many fans have been upset with these closures, we’ve noticed something interesting.

Typhoon Lagoon
One water park is reopening this week while another is closing. These two water parks frequently flip flop being open and closed for refurbishment. Is your favorite Disney World water opening or closing this week? Let’s find out!
