food IS a theme park
Hello, DFB friends! We spent a lovely day walking around Hollywood Studios to see if we could spot anything new.
Nothing but blue skies! So what did we notice since our last stroll around the park?
Calling all coffee lovers! Today is National Coffee Day and, of course, Walt Disney World is celebrating!
Today, ALL Joffrey’s locations in the Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs are offering a deal to get your cup of coffee for just $1! We are so glad they kept this celebration from last year!
Many people will agree that coffee is a necessity (even when drinking it out of a Baby Yoda mug). But some people just aren’t satisfied with the coffee options offered at Disney World hotels.
Sure, Disney World has improved its java game with Joffrey’s in select resort rooms, as well as both Joffrey’s and Starbucks locations throughout the parks (perfect for when the PSL craving hits us). But some coffee lovers still crave something more sophisticated.
From a Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Mac-Tini to a Pumpkin Spice Sundae — we feel like we’ve died and gone to pumpkin heaven!
Well, today we tried another pumpkin flavored treat in Disney World — this time in the form of a coffee drink. Could it possibly beat out the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino? We had to find out!
Halloween is almost here, and it’s time to get spooky! We’ve already started to enjoy Halloween in the parks, what with all the spooktacular merchandise and food we’ve found.
But not all the spooky snacks are on the menu: some are secret, meaning you have to know how to order them, like the Jack Skellington Frappuccino.
Maybe the best thing about fall at Disney World is that everything gets a pumpkin makeover, including the food! This includes some of the snacks at The Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios, which serves up some of Starbucks’ best pumpkin treats!
This time, though, we decided to forego our usual Pumpkin Spice Latte and try something different (but still pumpkin, obviously!). Instead, we ordered the Pumpkin Scone and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew!
We love the Starbucks at Disney Springs Marketplace because it often surprises us with special limited-time drinks. So you can imagine how stoked we were when we found a drink on the menu today devoted to Iron-Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.
So obviously, we had to try it!
Coffee! That’s a word that always gets us excited, and if you haven’t noticed, we love when new flavors and blends of coffee turn up (did someone say gingerbread?).
So you can imagine how thrilled we were to discover that Joffrey’s had announced a brand new blend dedicated to Walt Disney World’s Riviera Resort.
Staying at a Disney World hotel is not without its challenges for folks who take their coffee consumption VERY seriously!
While Disney World’s theme parks have a better selection of specialty drinks to get you caffeinated thanks to Joffrey’s and Starbucks, the same can’t be said for all of the Disney hotels! They pretty much serve just the most basic stuff at their grab ‘n’ go dining locations!
Ever since we found out where the new Gideon’s Bakehouse would be going in at Disney Springs, we’ve been circling the location like a pack of hungry sharks!
We still have to pinch ourselves every now and then to believe we won’t just be getting our favorite Gideon’s chocolate chip cookies straight from the source when the new bakery opens, but we’ll also be getting massive cake slices and a signature line of coffee blends.
