Every time we ride the monorail into EPCOT, we’re reminded how far the construction progress has come in the middle of the park!

EPCOT has been in the middle of a massive transformation for several years now, and we’ve been watching it come together slowly, with additions like restaurants, rides, and shops. But this fall, the middle of the park should officially be complete, and today we have a BIG update on the construction!
HUGE CHANGES are coming to Disney World soon, so it’s an exciting time to be planning a trip to the parks!
Cinderella Castle
A new restaurant — Roundup Rodeo BBQ — is opening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 23rd, the fan-favorite Happily Ever After fireworks show is returning on April 3rd, and TRON Lightcycle / Run is opening on April 4th. Not only did we just get some pretty stellar character meet-and-greet info, but Disney shared a sneak peek at the inside of the new CommuniCore Hall — which will also be home to another new meet-and-greet!
It’s been a pretty BIG week for EPCOT news!
EPCOT is welcoming in spring!
EPCOT is currently undergoing a lengthy transformation. New rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have already debuted, but guests are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of spaces like CommuniCore Hall and Plaza as well as the upcoming attraction Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana. The park also has its seasonal changes in the form of festivals, and the next one on the slate is the Flower and Garden Festival!
If you haven’t been to EPCOT in a while, then you might be surprised by some of the big changes in the park!

In the past few years, EPCOT has added two new rides, multiple new restaurants, a new gift shop, and a reimagined Club Cool. But there’s so much more to come!
