Part of an EPCOT Pavilion Is Mysteriously Closed

UPDATE: When we stopped by on July 31st, the entire back area that had been closed off previously had reopened and construction bushes were no longer blocking the area.

Sometimes, things just happen in Disney World with no explanation.

We’ve seen rides suddenly close on occasion (not counting the times when rides close for weather). We’ve seen things go missing from rides. We’ve even seen animatronics replaced by plants. Yes, that really happened. However, recently, we noticed a part of a World Showcase Pavilion in EPCOT was closed. Let’s take a look.

A Disney Springs Store Has Suddenly CLOSED

Why We’re Worried About EPCOT’s New Moana Attraction

Since it was first announced, we’ve been SO excited for the chance to have our first walkthrough of the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana! But as much as we’re looking forward to our chance to play in this space…we’re also getting more and more worried.

Guests will be able to explore what Disney has described as a “lush exploration trail” that allows explorers to “play with magical, living water” through an immersive walk-through attraction. Well, we sure hope so.
