Pixar Place Construction Progress
For a while, Disneyland Resort has been updating the Paradise Pier Hotel to become the Pixar Place Hotel, and it’s going to become the ultimate place for Pixar fans to stay on vacation. During a recent visit, we checked out some of the changes, and we took LOTS of photos to share the progress with you!
It’s no secret that EPCOT is home to quite a few construction projects right now!
EPCOT
There are walls up all over the place, but the park’s massive transformation is set to be complete before the end of the year. As each section of the park has gotten its makeover, Disney has made sure that the new additions felt cohesive — keeping similar architectural styles, similar color schemes, and making all the signs in the same EPCOT font. And to fit along with those redesigns, the snack stands in the front of the park have been getting some updates!
Disney World crowds can be a little… unpredictable sometimes.
Magic Kingdom
Sure, we can keep track of the big events and holidays to get an idea of what we might be expecting, but these days it’s been more difficult to truly predict when those wait times will skyrocket. But, if you’re planning a 2024 Disney World trip, the crowds might not be as bad as you might think and we’re telling you why.
To say that a lot is happening at Disney World right now would be an understatement.
Disney’s Polynesian Village
A new attraction just opened at EPCOT PLUS that park will soon have its multi-year transformation complete. New restaurants are coming to the resort, too! However, we’ve been keeping a close eye on one specific project to see how it’s been coming along, so let’s head on over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check in.
There’s a NEW ride coming to Magic Kingdom, and we’re watching the construction progress like a HAWK. (Insert gesture of two fingers pointing at our eyes then turning to point at the ride here. 😉)

When Splash Mountain closed to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we expected there would be some swift changes in the scenery, but quite a bit has been altered since the construction started earlier this year! We’ve been able to keep tabs on the queue area to see how it’s progressing, and now we’ve got an update to share.
Who’s ready for a new fireworks show in EPCOT?!

Harmonious ended its run with the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, and since then, EPCOT Forever has been the temporary fireworks show that plays each night in World Showcase Lagoon. But on December 5th, 2023, the new show — Luminous, the Symphony of Us — will premiere. Now, EPCOT is prepping for the new show, and we’ve got some news to share!
The wait for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to be completed feels like it’s taking FOREVER, y’all, and we’re getting impatient.

Sure, Tiana would tell us to have patience because “fairy tales can come true.” But Disney has already stated that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure won’t open until late 2024. So, for now, we’re just checking in on the construction of the ride, hoping to spot something new, and well, we’ve got a NEW update to share with you.
Something is almost always under construction at Disney World. The word “change” could be Disney World’s middle name.

It’s always fun, though, to check on construction of projects like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or on restaurants we can’t WAIT to eat at like Summer House on the Lake. We’ve also been following construction projects at the hotels, too, though, and we’re headed to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out the latest!
