We’ve been keeping an eye on the refurbishment work going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the TRON coaster construction, the refurbishment of the Magic Kingdom entrance sign, and more. About a month ago, we shared that the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island in Magic Kingdom would be closed for a lengthy refurbishment, and now that refurbishment period has been extended.
We’ve made quite a few trips out to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out the construction progress, and we were even able to run into our old friend, Coconut Man, what a joy!
We’ve seen quite a few construction signs, entrance changes, and more at the hotel, and recently we spotted another update!Â

That’s part of the reason why we’ve been having a hard time waiting for news of the upcoming Disney Springs spot, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. We got a sneak peek of the donuts themselves, and now we know what the building will look like!
