From bottled water and soda price increases to increases on Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, there’s a lot to unpack in Disney’s latest reveals. But if you’re a big character dining fan, then there’s one particular update you need to know about at Chef Mickey’s.

There are a ton of new eats and treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that we’ve already tried, but we also found out about a bunch of NEW things coming to other spots in Disney World for the month of October. Not only have we been able to start trying all the Halloween treats in Disney World, but we also got to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. PLUS, we also got try out some princess-themed treats for World Princess week. ALL the food. However, August also brought some changes to Disney World restaurant menus.

Disney Vacation Club kiosk in Animal Kingdom
The Disney Vacation Club lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has been closed for several months (though it opened briefly in 2021). But things are changing here, in a more sinister way. The lounge will officially be reopening on July 11th with a whole new Villains(!) theme and look! We got to check it out for ourselves and now we’re taking you with us for a FULL review.

Cinderella Castle’s 50th anniversary makeover is so pretty
We’ve been gearing up for some fun on the Disney Wish, but with June being Pride month in Disney World, we ate a lot of Pride Cake, rainbow cupcakes, and even a rainbow waffle. We also tracked a LOT of menu updates throughout the month, so grab a seat, and we’ll get started!

Contempo Cafe
Traditionally, Disney goes all out for holidays and this Fourth of July is no different. Recently, Disney shared their complete list of all of the foods coming to Disney World and Disneyland for the holiday so, naturally, we had to taste test!
If you don’t like change, Disney is NOT the place to go right now.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Whether it’s price increases, construction changes, or menu changes — change is the name of the game at the Most Magical Place on Earth these days. One of Disney’s signature spots — California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — changed in a BIG way for Disney’s 50th Anniversary. It now offers a prix fixe menu as part of the festivities. But recently some changes were made to that menu and some NEW items were added. So, of course, we had to make our way over to this ever-popular place to try them out.
