We already raved over the Egg Nog Fudge today, and we also took a bite out of the Mickey Mouse Gingerbread Cookie, but now it’s time to sink our teeth into some sticky caramel!
We’ve been taking you around the reopened Disney World Resort Hotels ALL day! From saying “hello” to Mickey for the first time in MONTHS at Topolino’s Terrace to wondering where the heck everyone is, it’s been quite the day so far!

We’re finally settling into our accommodations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we thought we would take a walk around and see exactly what resort amenities are still available for guests!
As many of you may know, Disney’s new Park Pass Reservation System opened with a bumpy start this morning. But that’s not the only BIG Disney milestone taking place. Today, select Disney World hotels have also reopened to guests.

With Disney World set to reopen its Disney Vacation Club Resorts on June 22, along with Disney’s Fort Wilderness, we’re ready to head back to some of our favorite hotels on property and catch up on EVERYTHING we’ve missed since March!

But not so fast! While we were perusing which restaurants will open on June 22, we noticed there were SEVERAL dining experiences missing from those lists that made our jaws hit the floor! Here are six restaurants that we are SHOCKED to find will not be a part of their resorts’ initial reopenings.

Walt Disney World’s Epcot
While the Disney World parks remain closed, the resort has taken its first step towards resuming operations with the phased reopening of Disney Springs on May 20th.
We can look at the reopening of Disney Springs, as well as Shanghai Disneyland, for an idea of what to expect when the Disney World parks welcome back guests. But we have one HUGE question for which Disney hasn’t yet set a precedent.
Easter will be hopping up on us before we know it! And Disney World sounds like a pretty great place to celebrate!

The Gingerbread Castle has arrived in all its sweet glory in Disney World! And, while we are appreciating the gingerbread artistry and hidden Mickeys, we’re also snacking on the treats being baked up next door!
