For the second week in a row, Â Walt Disney World wait times across the resort mostly trended downward over the past 7 days.

Even eternally busy attractions like Avatar: Flight of Passage and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure saw slight decreases this week, which is interesting. However, one water ride saw a MASSIVE leap, which is a big hint that summer and its temperatures are almost here.Â

Disney gave us a sneak peek at the Country Bear Jamboree, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new foodie guide for Pride month, and we noticed the RE-OPENING date for a very popular ride! There has been a lot of news coming from Disney with more likely on the way. As we enter June, we know we’re in for a busy month ahead. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the festival areas CommuniCore Hall and Plaza in EPCOT are all opening this month. With so much happening in June, why will everyone be going to Hollywood Studios on July 27th? Let’s find out!

A new show is coming!
We learned in September 2023 that the show would be closing for a revamp, and that Nashville singers, producers, and musicians were involved. And we know that “The Bare Necessities” is one of the Disney tunes being used in the new show. But we just got more info — and we’re sharing it here now!

Frozen Ever After
Even some of the resort’s most in-demand rides fell slightly this week at 3 out of 4 Walt Disney World parks (we’re throwing a side-eye your way, Animal Kingdom). Also notably, Rise of the Resistance overtook Slinky Dog Dash for the highest average wait time at Hollywood Studios.

Even as we’re excited to see this popular theater reopen in the park, unfortunately, two other attractions remain closed in Hollywood Studios. However, it’s not just Hollywood Studios suffering from closures. Several other attractions around Disney World will also remain closed this week. Country Bear Jamboree
Last year, Disney announced that the attraction would be closing to make room for a new, updated version of the show — and we’ve been keeping an eye out for every update we can get since then! Disney just shared a sneak peek and more details of what we can expect from this retheme, but now we’ve got another clue that things are moving along.
Disney announced the temporary closing of Country Bear Jamboree in Magic Kingdom late last year to make room for a new, updated version of the show.
Country Bear Jamboree
The original Country Bear Jamboree gave its final performance on January 26th, 2024. The new version of Country Bear Jamboree, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, is set to debut in Summer 2024. We don’t know exactly what the refreshed show will look like yet, other than that the bears will sing classic Disney songs in new styles like country, rockabilly, and bluegrass. But Disney recently gave us a peek at some new costumes coming to the show, and now we’re pretty much obsessed with the idea of “shapewear for bears.”
