Disney Cruise Line resumed sailings from the United States recently.

We’ve already shared a look at certain policies that have changed for upcoming sailings due to COVID-19 as well as changes in mask rules and more. But now, certain rules for sailing on Disney Cruise Line have changed, particularly when it comes to those ages 12 and up.

Recently, the face mask rules changed to require guests to wear masks indoors at the theme parks after the CDC updated its guidelines. In July, Disney announced that salaried and non-union employees would be required to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Now, Disney and Union leaders have come to an agreement on the mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.

When the parks first opened, face masks were required at almost all times, social distancing markers were all over the place, and there was limited capacity in the parks. Most of those things have gradually faded away as things began to shift nationally and vaccines became widely available. But recently, safety measures like face masks were put back into place, regardless of vaccination status.
With new vaccination requirements and a flurry of cancellations, Disney Cruise Line is making lots of changes to adapt to the times.

However, cruises have started to set sail again, including Disney cruises. Today, the CDC has some new guidances for certain individuals seeking to go on a cruise.
UPDATE: As of October 12th, the Orlando Utilities Commission has indicated that the reduction in water usage was effective and customers can return to their normal water usage. But, the OUC has continued to note that residents should be mindful of conservation practices.

Now, we have an update about mask requirements for travelers on public transportation in the U.S.

Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, recently spoke to one news source about COVID-19 and made a statement as to the Company’s overall position regarding the vaccine requirement for its employees.
