With Genie+, guests can “skip the line” just like we did in the past with FastPass+ — except now, it costs money. And as we’re experiencing the first super busy season with Genie+, we’ve noticed a trend we think you should be aware of before visiting and before purchasing Genie+.
So we saw Thanksgiving crowds yesterday, but what are Disney World crowds like today?

Today is the debut of the 2021 Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT and a lot of people are visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday, so we weren’t expecting low crowds in Disney World. Still, we were a bit surprised to find two parks VERY busy…and one oddly empty. Let’s get into it!
It’s Thanksgiving, which means lots of delicious food, early Black Friday sales, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and (if you’re in Disney World)…CROWDS.
