Are you Light Side or Dark Side?
Do you collect Jedi and Rebellion memorabilia? Or are you more drawn to the Dark Side, and collect Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, and Kylo Ren merchandise? If you answered the latter, you’ve got a NEW reason to head to Disney Springs.
YES, we know it’s Labor Day weekend — and many of us are celebrating the end of summer right now.
But we’ve also seen the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte this week, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is in full swing, and Halloween costumes are selling out online. So, we hate to tell you, but it may be time to turn your attention to Christmas shopping!
MagicBands may be getting a major update soon but you don’t HAVE to make the upgrade to the new MagicBand+. In fact, there are suddenly a bunch of new classic MagicBands selections to choose from.
MagicBands are a wearable technology that connect to the My Disney Experience app, and as long as you have an account and set up all your experiences, you can access your theme park tickets, Annual Pass, Disney World hotel, credit card, and more. Although the MagicBand+ will feature new offerings you can still get a classic MagicBand and there are some NEW designs you might be interested in!
Another week brings more surprises to Disney World!
This week we learned surprising Halloween news, a new feature that will solve a major problem, and several new character meet-and-greets have returned! Let’s jump right in!
SO many character meet-and-greets have returned to Disney World!
We’ve already been enjoying the fact that we can hug characters again, and we were so excited to see Minnie with Mickey Mouse in Magic Kingdom! Now — speaking of hugs — we’re about to get some fluffy Wookie hugs from Chewbacca because some of the Star Wars Launch Bay meet and greets have returned EARLY!
Is it just us, or does it seem like Disney World is constantly changing?
Of course, that’s not always a bad thing. For example, Disney World recently welcomed back the reimagined Finding Nemo show, the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet at Adventurers Outpost, and the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. But the fun doesn’t stop there, as we’re about to see many more changes around the parks. So, to prepare you for what July holds, we compiled a list of all the things you need to know if you’re visiting Disney World in July!
Disney recently announced the return of Star Wars Launch Bay character meet-and-greets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and now we have a BIG update!
Beginning on July 17th, guests will once again be able to visit with Darth Vader, BB-8, and Chewbacca! Considering that it’s summer and the Star Wars Launch Bay has air conditioning, we anticipate some looooong lines for the return of these popular characters. But what if you had the option to skip the line??
Disney World was FULL of surprises this week!
Not that it surprises us that Disney was surprising…er…something like that. Anyway, this week was full of holiday announcements, character meet-and-greet news, and lots more! Check out all the news here!
The return of traditional character meet and greets in Disney World has brought so much fun with it!
We’ve welcomed back character dining, on-stage shows, popular meet and greet locations, and so much more! And now, with the help of the force, we’re getting ready to say hi to some galactic friends…and foes.
