It was an eventful weekend for those of us who LOVE the Disney Parks.

Yes, this weekend, we tuned in to the Destination D23 event where we learned all sorts of news regarding things coming soon to the Disney Parks. We learned that Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will open on October 16th, some new meet and greets would land in the parks, and we even heard about an all-new nighttime spectacular coming to EPCOT. For those of you who love Magic Kingdom and the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, you’re probably most excited about the new Pirates tavern coming soon!

Whew! Is your head still spinning from all the Disney Parks announcements made at Destination D23?

We’re STILL trying to digest a lot of it, from how big the concept is for a potential Magic Kingdom expansion to what will replace DinoLand U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom to the return of Soarin’ Over California in EPCOT. There was just SO MUCH! However, there was one announcement in particular that we really weren’t expecting!

Disney Just Dropped Major News…But Left Out One Important Thing.

We’re here at the biggest Disney fan event of the year, Destination D23. This weekend, we will learn a lot about the future projects of Disney and what guests can expect in the future.

We already had some BIG announcements this morning from the first panel of the weekend. We know when the Hat Box ghost will be coming to Disney World, the official opening date of Journey of Water, and that the end of EPCOT’s transformation will finish in December.
