We’re seeing lots of new treats this time of year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Women’s History Month, and we’ve tried a whole bunch of those eats. We also just got the news that a restaurant in Disney Springs is getting some NEW menu items for this month!
Picture this: You’ve been fighting against the crowds in Magic Kingdom all morning long, your kids (if you have them) are ready for a nap, and let’s face it — you might be ready for a nap (or a drink!) soon too.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
But, you need food and FAST. A quick-service spot won’t cut it since you need a real break. Enter Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort — this sit-down spot offers a relaxing respite from the parks and is an underrated favorite of ours. But does it still hold up? Magic Kingdom
We’ve seen old rides close while new ones open, the addition of more dining offerings, and the return of character offerings that were unavailable during the pandemic. But now, we’ve got another big change on the horizon — the closure of a classic Disney restaurant!
It seems like we’re constantly getting new restaurants in Disney World these days!
Space 220
From the ones that arrived with the 50th Anniversary (like Space 220 and Steakhouse 71) to the newer options coming soon (like Roundup Rodeo BBQ), there are plenty of exciting new places to eat in the parks and resorts. But soon, we’ll be getting a NEW hotel restaurant in Disney World!
There are a LOT of new restaurants opening soon in Disney World, and we can’t wait to try them all! Roundup Rodeo BBQ and Summer House on the Lake are a couple of examples, but our sweet tooth is craving The Cake Bake Shop.
The Boardwalk
The bakery’s third location is coming to Disney’s Boardwalk later this year. We already have an idea of what the menu and pricing will be like based on its other locations, and we’ve even interviewed the owner and founder, Gwendolyn Rogers. We just got a sneak peek of what some of the decorations could be when this new location opens!

Sure, chances are you can find something for just about anyone, but if you’re looking for the ultimate Magic Kingdom dining experience fit for royalty, there’s really only one place that comes to mind.
