We’ve become pretty familiar with that Disney World URL! And during a recent glance at the website, we discovered something really weird.
MORE change is coming to Disney World soon!

We may still be feeling the raw emotions that come with bidding farewell to a classic attraction in Magic Kingdom, but Disney has announced even more changes will be coming to entertainment across the park. Just recently, we saw changes to the parade and cavalcade schedules. We hope you’re buckled in tight though because we’ve got quite the shake-up getting ready to happen and we’re telling you about ALL the changes!

Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle
There are lots of great entertainment options in Magic Kingdom, from the big Festival of Fantasy Parade to “streetmosphere” performances like the Dapper Dans and Casey’s Corner Pianist. Starting tomorrow, January 16th, the showtimes are CHANGING for lots of these performances, so make sure you check out the new showtimes to avoid missing your favorites! [Read more…]

After so many incredible and ambitious announcements coming out of Destination D23, it was hard to keep all the timelines straight. We finally found out when we could meet and greet with Figment in EPCOT, announcements about a new Disney’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, and so much more… but, even our best fortunetelling powers couldn’t have prepared us for how soon we’d see another CHANGE so quickly in Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is going through some big changes!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is in the works, the Hatbox Ghost will be making his way to Haunted Mansion, and soon we’ll be getting new character meet-and-greets! Earlier this year, we learned that characters from the Madrigal family would be making their way to Magic Kingdom. Mirabel is set to take over Fairytale Garden, the old Merida meet-and-greet, and her Uncle Bruno would be popping up in the park as well. And now, we have details of when he will arrive!
Regular character meet and greets recently returned to Disney World, meaning you can hug your favorite characters again!

We’ve seen many of the meet and greets return, as well as a lot of character dining, but not everything has gone completely back to normal. We’ve also seen the return of parades alongside character cavalcades. In fact, a NEW character cavalcade debuted in Magic Kingdom earlier this year with a ton of fun and unique characters. And now, a VERY popular Disney character is going to join the cavalcade!
Disney World is slowly but surely returning to pre-pandemic operations, with updates such as additional restaurants reopening and more character meet-and-greets being offered throughout the parks.
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade
And, just recently we saw the return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade! This marks the first regular daytime parade to return to Disney World since the 2020 closure of the parks (minus the Christmas parade that we saw during the After Hours Event). But, what does the return of parades mean for Disney’s Cavalcades we’ve come to expect? Well, it looks like we’re starting to find out!
