VIDEO: Expedition Everest Ride Vehicles Were Testing in Disney World Today

Before you head to Disney World, there’s one big thing you should do that a lot of people forget about — checking the list of refurbishments!

It’s very quiet over here right now!

Throughout the year, various Disney attractions will close briefly to get routine maintenance. Sometimes those refurbishments are short, only lasting a week or so, while other times they may stretch on for months or even years (we’re looking at you, Walt Disney World Railroad!). Right now, Expedition Everest is in the middle of a three-month refurb, and we noticed some changes at the ride today!

At DFB, we love the classics, and there’s nothing more classic than the original Disney park…Disneyland! Between the two parks in Anaheim, California, there is SO much to see and do! Disneyland is full of unique attractions, characters, and even festivals! Even the attractions that eventually made their way to Disney World, like “it’s a small world,” the Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean are actually DIFFERENT in Disneyland!

Holiday overlays are one of our favorite parts of the season in Disney World! And, we couldn’t be more excited that the parks will be bringing them back to multiple attractions during the day and for Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours this year!

In the past, we’ve seen holiday overlays at Tomorrowland Speedway, Jungle Cruise (AKA Jingle Cruise), Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and beyond. As things slowly, but surely have started to return to normal in Disney World, attractions have started to drift back to the way they used to be prior to the closures. And, that means pre-shows are being reinstated after being closed as a previous health and safety measure.
