With the Coronavirus outbreak, the Disney Parks are taking every precaution they can around the world to ensure guests’ safety. Even though we’ll have to say goodbye to the parks for now, there’s still PLENTY of new and exciting lands, food, and more making their way back in Disney soon!
In order to promote the health and safety of the Resort’s guests and cast members, the temporary closure of the Disneyland Resort parks — Disneyland and Disney California Adventure — went into effect March 14th, 2020. Disneyland Resort is currently preparing for a temporary park closure beginning Saturday, March 14th due to precautions surrounding the Coronavirus.

And, while Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be shutting their doors through the end of the month, the parks are taking both health precautions and giving away donations!
UPDATE: While Disney was exempt from the recommendation, Disneyland has officially announced that the parks will temporarily close beginning March 14th. The resorts will close beginning on March 16th. And Downtown Disney will remain open for the time being. Learn more about the closure here.
It was announced Thursday morning that Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, has recommended the canceling of gatherings of 250 or more people.

A few industries and institutions received special exemptions from this order, notably the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.
