The 100th anniversary celebrations of The Walt Disney Company kicked off in the parks in January which came with the grand opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! Since then, Splash Mountain has closed to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the reimagined Toontown has reopened. This summer, a brand new experience is coming to Disney California Adventure and we just got more details!
From a GIANT Ferris wheel to a Cars-themed race through Radiator Springs, there’s a LOT to do at Disney California Adventure.

We’re getting ready for the holidays!
Disney is currently celebrating Halfway to the Holidays, and as part of the fun, they’ve given us hints at what we can expect in the parks for the 2023 holiday season. From the return of fan-favorite holiday parties, all-new runDisney races, and a first look at holiday-themed merchandise, Disney has shared TONS of information with us! While most of the announcements are regarding things taking place at Disney World, Disney has also confirmed a lot of things that will be returning to Disneyland. Let’s check them all out!

Disney sure knows how to celebrate, and right now it’s time to party because we’re officially Halfway to the Holidays — which means a few holiday-themed treats have popped up around the parks. It’s time, Dear DFB Reader, to come on our journey as we drink egg nog just in time for summer.

Some big news we’ve seen recently is Disney announcing details around Oogie Boogie Bash for this fall and a new Jungle Cruise dessert bowl. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible at Pixar Place Meet and Greet
It hasn’t been long at all since we welcomed Pixar character meet and greets back to Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, saw Baymax fly for the first time during the new Wondrous Journeys fireworks in Disneyland, and FINALLY ushered in the official opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ with some of our favorite Toy Story friends.
