We are officially almost halfway to Halloween and couldn’t be more excited!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be here before we know it, and while we’re still waiting to hear most of the details surrounding the party this year, we do know that some popular offerings will be returning. And now Disney has confirmed (in a roundabout way) that even MORE of our favorite offerings will be coming back!
There are a lot of different jobs at Disney World, from chefs to ride attendants to fireworks engineers. But a good portion of Disney World’s workforce is made up of college students who attend an internship program called the Disney College Program.

Elaborately decorated treats like caramel apples, fudge, rice krispy treats, cookies, and more are displayed in these windows for guests to purchase. You’ll usually find different treats for sale, depending on the season or other events going on. But how do the incredible confections get to these counters in the first place? There have been some major changes in leadership at the Walt Disney Company over the last two years!

When Bob Iger stepped down as CEO and was replaced by Bob Chapek in early 2020, some changes were made to the company as roles shifted. Since then, Bob Iger has been Chairman of the Board for the Walt Disney Company, but now that is changing.
To many people, working at Disney World would be a dream come true.

We’ve seen Disney and restaurants or other spots that operate in Disney World posting a number of job openings over the past few weeks and months, and now we’ve seen even more announced! NEW Cinderella Castle Design!
New rides are about to open up, Cinderella Castle got a BIG makeover, and soon we’ll see new golden character statues around the parks! With all the expected celebrations for the anniversary, it’s going to take a lot of help from Disney’s amazing Cast Members. So, if you’ve ever wanted the opportunity to work for Disney World, now is your chance!
You may have heard, Disney is in the midst of furloughing all non-essential employees from Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, as well as Walt Disney Studios. Just the other day the company reached an agreement with a workers union to furlough 43,000 employees. Wow.

On top of the furloughs, Disney executives are taking MASSIVE pay cuts, their Cultural and College Programs have been suspended, and third-party partners are laying off hundreds of workers in Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. With such monumental efforts going towards cutting personnel expenses, you might be surprised to find out that Disney is actually STILL hiring workers, too.
