Now, Disneyland is still required to operate at 25% capacity based on Orange County’s COVID-19 case count (and various other factors), so we have not seen a capacity increase recently. It’s like a countdown to launch when it comes to snagging a boarding group for the popular attraction — Rise of the Resistance. Everyone wants to join the resistance and take a stressful journey to escape the First Order — sounds fun! So, leading up to the race to see who can tap “Join Boarding Group” fast enough, everything quiets down for a moment in the park.
It’s another crowded weekend in Disney World, even if it’s supposed to be one of the “quieter” seasons in the parks.
Big Thunder is down!
Today, each of the four parks have hit capacity as guests make their way over to their favorite attractions and restaurants in Disney World. As things pick up speed today, a fan-favorite attraction is down while others have a surprisingly long line.
We’ve seen big crowds in Disney World over the last week.

The parks were packed last weekend due to the holiday — we saw some of the biggest crowds since Disney reopened last year! We expected things to slow down a bit as the week progressed, but we were hit with some MAJOR traffic today as we drove to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
