It has been running staycation cruises in the United Kingdom, and Disney recently ran a test sailing from Florida, but a variety of Disney’s cruises have been canceled through part of this year. But, Disney’s looking well into the future when it comes to cruising and now we’ve got an update on Disney Cruise Line’s potential new homeport!
While Disney’s theme parks around the world have reopened, there’s one thing that hasn’t quite become fully available yet…Disney Cruise Line.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wonder
Disney Cruise Line is running some staycation cruises out of the United Kingdom this summer, but Disney’s ships have not yet been able to sail from the United States. Previously, Disney was set to run a test cruise out of Florida, but that was ultimately canceled. Now, we’ve got an update on what’s going on with Disney Cruise Line at the moment!
With Disney World and Disneyland both moving closer and closer to being fully reopened, we can now start to think about other aspects of Disney that have yet to fully reopen, like the Disney Cruise Line.

Today, we heard about another development regarding Canada’s cruise ban that moves us closer to seeing the Disney Cruise Line back in action.

A few months ago, Disney released TONS of information about the new Disney Cruise Line ship! The ship will include Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea, a Frozen-themed restaurant, an adults-only Star Wars lounge, and SO much more! One of the biggest restaurant announcements for the ship was the Marvel dining experience, and Disney just dropped even more details about it!
