But if you’re a little tired of the same old restaurants and food booths, we’ve got some GREAT news! A new restaurant is set to open in EPCOT this year called  Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya. Let’s check in on the status of this new dining option.

The Boardwalk
We’re getting so excited about the addition of The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn restaurants and have been anxiously tracking its construction progress. We also saw a complete retheming to the relatively new Boardwalk Deli that was transformed from the Boardwalk Bakery. Puffy pizza, sub-par chicken nuggets, and theme park hot dogs are just a few of the (many) BORING food options available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a chicken nugget or two (we’ve done it, too!), but we’re here to tell you that you can do better. If you’re tired of the same old bland, uninteresting snacks in Disney World, we’re here to free you from that bad theme park food.

The Disney parks are known to be bustling during holidays and it doesn’t matter whether they’re the big ones like Christmas or Easter, spring break season, or even some of the lesser-known holidays. So, here’s your friendly reminder to mark your calendar and set your alarms if you have a Labor Day trip planned!
There are two kinds of people in this world: the kind that sees a spider and shouts, “EW KILL IT!” and the kind that says, “LET HIM LIVE. HE ISN’T HURTING ANYONE!” Honestly, our relationship with bugs is kind of complicated, but there are some bugs we simply love. Take the characters from A Bug’s Life, for example. Last time we met Gypsy, she was just about the sweetest (and prettiest) moth we’ve ever met!

While we have a soft spot for all Disney bugs (except Hopper!), there’s one beautiful friend we especially adore. And now, Disney is giving one of our favorite characters its own DESSERT! Did you know we just tried 12 NEW snacks at Disney Springs? Most of them were made for people with a sweet tooth, like us. So when we heard there was a new ice cream treat at a Disney hotel, you know we had to go try it.
Bring your appetite, your whip, and your best fedora because we’re going to the Disney parks to try some NEW Indiana Jones-inspired treats! Who’s ready for a dessert-filled adventure? That’s the BEST kind of adventure, right?

After working up an appetite from walking around the parks all day, you decide to grab a bite to eat before calling it a night. Where do you go? There are some great places to check out in the area — Flying Fish offers up some impressive seafood, you can find a simpler meal and some delicious pastries at BoardWalk Deli, and soon, the whimsical Cake Bake Shop will be opening for brunch, lunch, and dinner. But, if you’re in the mood for some Italian fare, Trattoria al Forno fits the bill. They recently reopened after a short refurbishment, so I decided to stop by for dinner to check it out. Come see how it went!
