Along with Disney theme parks around the world, the Disney Cruise Line has closed for the time being to guests as a health and safety precaution.
Disney Cruise Line
While the Disney Magic won’t be sailing until October at the earliest and different cruises have been canceled through July (along with Adventures by Disney), the cruise ships are actually expected to resume sailing pretty soon.
Disney Cruise Line has been canceling sailings little by little as the global health crisis progresses.
Disney Wonder
The previous round of cancellations suspended many sailings prior to July 2nd. Now, another round of cancellations has cropped up stretching all the way into late July. We’re taking a look at the affected bookings.
The Disney Cruise Line fleet is made up of four ships: the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy.
Disney Wonder
Disney Cruise Line has cancelled sailings into June and July for the fleet to promote guest and crew safety amid the current global health situation and in light of the CDC’s current “No Sail Order” for cruise ships. As the global health crisis continues, a lot of aspects of the tourism industry have been pretty touch and go.
Disney Cruise Line
Perhaps one of the most affected types of travel has been cruise ships. Disney Cruise Line has been taking it day by day in deciding when to further sailing cancellations. A few days ago, there was an extension for suspensions across the whole cruise line and now the Disney is extending an offer to guests originally scheduled on one of the canceled sailings and who chose to move their sail date previously.
In order to promote safety during the current global situation (and in response to an extension of the “No Sail Order” issued for cruise ships by the CDC), Disney Cruise Line is cancelling further sailings into this summer.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream
Departures through May 17, 2020 have previously been cancelled for the fleet, with departures cancelled for the Disney Magic through June 7th and sailings embarking or debarking in Vancouver — which specifically affects the Disney Wonder — through the end of June. [Read more…]

Due to the recent closures company-wide for Disney, the Disney Cruise ships have all halted their sailings through May 17th. The Wonder has gone a step further by canceling departures through June, along with the Magic stopping its European cruises through June as well. However, the Disney Cruise Line is still sprinkling some magic on everyone during this time by using the creative talents of its Cast and Crew Members!
Oh, how we miss EPIC Sail Away Parties and unlimited ice cream on the Disney Cruise Line ships!

Although Disney previously announced that the fleet would be stopping sailings through April 28th and that the Dream would even halt May and June departures, the Disney Cruise Line has extended its closure again.
We’ve been cooking and baking up a Disney recipe storm with our pots and pans recently (even though they aren’t enchanted).
