food IS a theme park
We’re back again in Disney Springs to bring you all the food news after its reopening!
While we took you on a tour of the reopening restaurants, we’re returning for seconds at The Polite Pig (and to try a few new menu items!).
Each Disney snack has a special place in our hearts, buuuut you voted and ranked Dole Whip at the top of your lists!
Although we could eat three of them in the parks AND you can even make them at home from scratch, Dole Whips tend to see new twists throughout our time Disney. We’ve seen the Kakamora Float, lime Dole Whip, and even a Tajin Dole Whip (Spicy pineapple, anyone??). But, we spotted a new Dole Whip trend at a restaurant by our houses.
Disney Springs re-opened its third-party restaurants and stores, and we’ve been taking you all around property with us to get snacking!
We’ve visited one of the Happiest Restaurants on Earth (AKA Wine Bar George) to check out its new procedures AND stopped by its quick service spot, The Basket, to try one of their new Fries and Frozen drink pairings. But, if you think that our love for fries stopped there, think again!
Since Disneyland and Disney World originally opened, snacks have seen some MAJOR changes.
While treats have come and gone, some of the most iconic snacks have stuck around for a while (thank goodness!). But, while you might recognize these treats as some of the best-known items in the Disney Parks, they have a bit of history you probably weren’t aware of!
Disney Springs is back OPEN with places to shop and spots to grab a bite.
While Disney-owned locations won’t be opening until May 27th, there are still SO many restaurants and stores that will be greeting guests again. Today, we’re making our way over to the newly-reopened Pizza Ponte to see how they’re handling the changes.
Although the Disney World theme parks have not yet have a set timeline for reopening, Disney Springs will start to open its third-party stores and restaurants on May 20th.
Along with STK Orlando and Wine Bar George, there’s another eatery opening up to guests the first day Disney Springs re-opens.
We’ve been baking up a storm recently with all those amazing Disney recipes (we’ve had Mickey Waffles like three times this week already).
And, while you’re singing and dancing around your kitchen as you cook, you’re going to want to pull out your best silverware and plates for this next delicious treat!
Disney World has started to re-open in phases, beginning with third-party restaurants and stores in Disney Springs!
Although some of these spots are opening back up, Disney World has also recently confirmed that they will no longer be taking any reservations earlier than July 1st. And, before today, if your vacation was affected by the park closures, you could take advantage of a private offer including a free dining package.
There are a LOT of amazing treats in Disney World, whether you’re a fan of the classic Dole Whip or you like mixing and matching things to build your own creation (Mickey Ear Ice Cream Sandwich, where ya at?).
But, even though there are plenty of Instagram-worthy snacks around the park, there are also a few treats that really catch you off guard by how strange they are. We’re talkin’ about the most unusual treats of the bunch with weird flavors and even weirder designs.
We are BIG Baby Yoda fans. I mean, how can you resist that sweet little face?? Plus, he can use THE FORCE (come on!!).
While we’ve been burning through our wallets stocking up on the Baby Yoda Build-A-Bear, personalized mugs, and ICONIC new bag, our mornings are about to get a galactic transformation.
