Big CHANGES have hit Disney this week.
From changes with Genie+ to changes on restaurant menus, things aren’t all the same as they were just a few days ago. Let’s go through some of the biggest updates from this week!
Not all Disney World vacations are created equally.Â
Sure, all of the attractions and dining options might generally remain the same (though things are always changing around Disney World!), and you might hug the same characters too – but at the end of the day, no two Disney World trips are the same. One of the biggest factors that can impact a trip is just how crowded the parks are on the day of your visit. This can affect everything from how long you have to wait to ride your favorite attraction, where you decide (or are forced) to eat a meal, and yes – even how much you pay for certain things. Disney World is not immune to surge pricing, but we’re giving you our best tips on how to avoid it!
Disney Genie+ is the new way to skip the lines in Disney World. For $15 per person per day, you can skip the standby line and head straight onto certain attractions in the parks. To really get your money’s worth from the system, we recommend doing some research before your trip to learn the ins and outs of Genie+.
We’re in Disney World parks every day, so we’ve done all kinds of research and experiments with Genie+. From our experiences, we’ve learned a LOT about the program, including some rules that guests need to follow in order to really take advantage of Genie+. Now, Disney has made a few of those rules official! [Read more…]
It’s an unfortunate truth that wait times at Disney World can be LONG. Especially for the most popular attractions, guests will sometimes wait multiple hours before they get to ride. If you’d rather skip those long lines and head straight onto the rides, you can do that — for a price, of course.
Disney replaced FastPass+ with the new Disney Genie+ back in October of 2021. With the new system, guests can pay $15 per person per day to skip the lines at certain attractions. Since that time, we’ve seen several changes to the program. Now, another BIG change is coming to Genie+, and it goes into effect TODAY. [Read more…]
Disney World is good at MANY things! From the fine details to the nostalgia, and the thrills to the animation, is there ANYTHING they can’t do?!
Oh, and let’s not forget about that almost trance-like influence they have over us in getting guests to spend MORE money? Genius!
Disney World has changed a LOT recently!
We’ve seen updates with Genie+, the addition of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and a bunch of new snacks, to name a few. If you’re heading to the parks this month, you may be a bit overwhelmed with everything going on, so we’re rounding up all the things you need to know if you’re visiting Disney World in June 2022!
Whew, it’s been a busy month in Disney World!
From the booth announcements for the 2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival to the coming opening of 2023 Walt Disney World vacation bookings, we’ve got a lot coming at us. But, there’s some news we DIDN’T see coming! Here are the three most unexpected things that happened at Disney World last month!
We know that Disney Genie+ can be confusing for many, which is why we try to do our best to keep you updated on all the changes that happen with it!
Most attractions found throughout Disney World offer the option of skipping the line as a part of Disney Genie+, but some are Individual Attraction Selections, meaning you pay more for those rides apart from Genie+. One EPCOT ride is making the switch from Individual Attraction Selection to being a part of Disney Genie+!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has officially opened in EPCOT!
Disney shared several weeks ago that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will (at least for now) will not offer a standby line, and will instead require guests to obtain a boarding group via a virtual queue in order to ride. In addition to a virtual queue, Cosmic Rewind will also be available as an Individual Lightning Lane selection (or pay-per-ride selection) via Disney Genie.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has officially opened in Disney World.
The brand new attraction features all kinds of easter eggs, an epic soundtrack, and some of your favorite Guardians of the Galaxy characters, of course! We’ve shared a full look at the ride (with both spoiler-filled and spoiler-free reviews), but now that the ride has officially opened we’ve got to talk about HOW to get on it.
