Genie+ could cost you WAY more soon and you need to be prepared.

In case you’re not familiar with it, Genie+ is the PAID service that has replaced FastPass+ in Disney World. With it, you pay one price per person per day to make Lightning Lane reservations (generally one at a time throughout the day) at many (but not all) of Disney World’s rides. We’ve shared all kinds of Genie+ tips and tricks over the past few years, tracked when it’s hit RECORD high prices in the parks, and even warned you about the potential for Genie+ to sell out. Important Genie+ UPDATE Announced for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom

TRON Lightcycle / Run is opening in Magic Kingdom SOON (in fact, it’s opening sooner than we thought!), and a new ride means CHANGES in other parts of the park.

The TRON coaster will make use of a virtual queue and will also have an Individual Lightning Lane option if you want to pay to skip the line. Previously, when a new ride has opened in a park, the existing ride that used an Individual Lightning Lane swapped to be part of the normal Disney Genie+.
