As many of you probably already know, Monday, October 16th marks the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.Â

Disney fans are headed to the parks to celebrate, and of course, Disney World is included! Speaking of Disney World, the Disney100 Celebration will take place at EPCOT. We figured that EPCOT’s park pass reservations might fill up as the hosting park for all the fun. However, we were wrong based on how things are currently looking!
So much is going on around Disney World right now, we don’t blame you if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed.

Who’s excited to check out Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana in EPCOT?
Journey of Water
Well, select guests have already had a chance to walk through the new attraction, which is an interactive journey into the cycle of water. Cast Members have had their shot, as have many Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members. However, Annual Passholders who haven’t yet seen the attraction might have recently discovered that EPCOT park pass reservations were gone for upcoming preview days. Well, we’ve got some great news about that — new park pass reservations have been released for those days!
If you are heading to EPCOT soon, make sure you have a Park Pass reservation.
EPCOT
Every guest needs a park reservation in addition to their ticket to enter a Disney World park. This change came after the closure of Disney World in 2020 and has remained in place. While the reservation system is set to change in January 2024, you must still make a reservation for now. This is important to make your reservations ahead of time as some parks can fill up or “sell out.”
There’s a BIG holiday coming up in Disney World this week.
Magic Kingdom Train Station
Yep, we’re talking about the Fourth of July, which will bring some new excitement to Disney World. There will be an addition to EPCOT Forever over in EPCOT to celebrate, and Magic Kingdom will have a SPECIAL patriotic fireworks display. There are also special snacks to check out that were made especially for the holiday. However, if you wanted to BE in Magic Kingdom for the fourth, we’ve got some bad news.
Summer has officially arrived in Disney World, and, well, the crowds situation has been…a bit weird.

We have also seen a rise in Genie+ prices —Â but nothing like what we saw during Spring Break. Now that summer HAS arrived in Disney World, we’ve been keeping an eye on park pass reservations. Here’s the thing, though — we usually see park pass reservations completely sell out AT LEAST in and around the 4th of July, but this summer — well, something is different.Â
We’ve been dealing with a LOT of crowds in Disney World recently, thanks to the Spring Break travel season.

That means we’ve seen some long wait times for rides, and we’ve seen park pass reservations go quickly, ESPECIALLY for Magic Kingdom, thanks to the opening of a new ride AND the return of a popular fireworks show. But we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when looking at next week because it’s starting to already seem a lot different.
Things are VERY busy in Disney World right now — a LOT is going on in the parks.

A lot of that activity is happening in Magic Kingdom, where TRON Lightcycle / Run just opened and the Happily Ever After fireworks have returned! But Spring Break has also brought a TON of people to Disney World (the crowds and wait times are no joke). It’s no wonder that we’re seeing Genie+ at its highest price ever, but also selling out VERY early in the day for multiple days. So will that be the case next week?

The parks go all-out for major festivities like Christmas, Halloween, and New Year’s Eve, and people flock from all over the world to check out the celebration. But they also celebrate smaller holidays in Disney World as well! And one BIG occasion is coming up soon for Star Wars fans.

Crowds from the last day of the 50th anniversary
We’re in the middle of Spring Break travel season. The big 50th anniversary celebration JUST ended. TRON Lightcycle / Run is officially opening soon (although it’s already had a soft opening). That means that scoring park pass reservations could be a little tricky right now, but let’s look at what’s available for next week, as well as take a look at park hours.
