It seems like all the pool construction around Disney World is finally wrapping up!

Earlier this year, it felt like every pool in Disney World was closing for refurbishment. We saw work done to the Hippy Dippy Pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, the Paddock Pool at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, the splash area at Disney’s Polynesian Resort…well, you get the point. And while there’s still more refurbs to come, at least we can mark one more hotel off the list!

And one of the big perks of staying at a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, like Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, is the chance to sit back and relax and enjoy a few slower meals during the hustle and bustle of your Disney vacay. With several pools and dining options at many of them, it’s easy to have your poolside cocktail and eat lunch too.

Disney World Now Taking Reservations for Yacht and Beach Club Poolside Cabanas

Just a few weeks ago we gave you a peek into construction of cabanas at the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts’ shared pool, Stormalong Bay. This stellar pool (arguably one of the best on property) is a destination for guests at the resorts, and now a day poolside can be experienced in comfort! Rentals are now open for the cabanas for dates beginning March 17!

The cabanas will provide services and amenities such as padded furniture (including chairs and a couch), dedicated cast members, towels, a lockable cabinet, a mounted television with cable access, and charging outlets. [Read more…]
